Great video! A small carpet that could be put on the roof to protect your roof when having low hanging branches would help. Some plastic leveling block would be a great addition. I love your two dogs. Please keep making videos as they are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I just realized, as you were loading up Pablo & Matteo, that they aren't yappy like so many chihuahuas/chi mixes. I think at least in part because you take such great care of them, and they're content😊❤. Great video, I know that feeling you describe of slowly traveling on an untended road at the edge of a cliff. Thrilling, scary, and stressful. But the feeling after you make it!! I have found myself laughing a tad hysterically after runs like that (in my Subaru Outback LOL😂). I loved the length of this video. Thanks for sharing your adventures!!
They certainly have their moments, but overall they're really great guys an aren't too bad with barking 🐾 We got lucky to find two pups who love to ride in the car as much as they do!
Great job on those shelf roads! And taking the rockier line like you did, rather than going too far off camber is the way to go in rigs this size. Good to see you guys using it like it should be used!
You are right! It almost seems backwards at first. But with our clearance and wheel size, its easier to go over rocks than be tilted. It's all about learning your vehicle!
Being tilted isn't the most fun but the truck has always handled it so well! From what we've seen so far, it would take a pretty extreme angle to tip it.
We found you on UA-cam about a month ago. You have become our favorite UA-camrs to watch. You two are amazing! We are retired and do some camping in our van. 😀
Hi, guy's came upon your channel today. And I'm loving it. I drive a unimog for the forestry, here in Europe the unimog has full time 4x4, and yes it's awesome. Wishing you all the best and happy trucking.
You really like that kind of challenges / two real adventurers .. “Thank God you both like these kind of challenges”. You are One of a kind couple. ❤ from Québec
You are a great narrator. Love the history lessons and story's, I can feel exactly what you'r going through. Love watching you guys. Been following you for a couple years now. Stay safe and happy adventures.
That means a lot, thank you! The stories are the best part 🥰 and researching the places we go is a lot of fun. Makes you appreciate it a bit more to know the history!
So glad i came across your channel, i am loving your videos, i feel like I'm there with you seeing and learning about parts of the world I'll never get to see for myself, take care and sending love from the uk x
I went to florida and got severely sunburned on the beach! In the elevator which i shared with some Italians speaking Italian all I heard was Tomato and then giggles. It was a long ride up !🍅
Great video! beautiful scenery the cliffs so close to the the road are very scary! You two are so brave! Love how cozy it looks you cooking dinner in your sweet home you created! and Mateo and Pablo look so happy! Thank you for taking us on your adventures and Savannah you do a super informative job of giving us history, facts and narrating the video!
Hey Y'all, that was a couple of great days! Electric chainsaw is a great accessory, I was wondering about that around 12 minutes in. Great to see Foreman Mateo scampering about! Y'all are making it happen! Congrats and enjoy.
Loved this vid. Enjoyed seeing y’all put the Mog through some challenges and learn as you go. I second the comment about the aloe gel and would add getting the kind with lidocaine, it helps a lot. I’m a professional sunburner. 😊
Glad you have on X. It'll save ya. Look up Fab Rats, near Glendale, if you're passing. They're top notch off roaders and UA-camrs and would appreciate seeing the amazi ng camper MOG!!! Great timelapse at the end!X
Forgot to add it to the description, thanks for reminding me! We've been loving this recipe: eatwithclarity.com/asian-edamame-crunch-salad/. Perfect for warmer!
I love you, both... I love Mogs... I wish to build as you a expedition home on a U535 same box as yours cause we're from UK... but we want to build something of a island cabinets central half box center from the front of the box... big sliders both sides and drop bed from the roof... I want to tell you... something something
I watch sailing videos of world sailors in bad storms, videos like this, and always assume everyone lived thru it when I see a video posted. I assume if anyone didn't survive, there wouldn't be a video, at least for one week... 😳 You should carry a rechargeable pole chain saw.
@@OurWayToRoam When I was a kid, I traveled with my dad in the summer in an auto parts bobtail truck. During a storm, I stayed in the truck which was parked a few feet from a building and a tornado nearby pushed the truck over against a building. I stayed in the truck and it took a forklift and some pallets to push it upright again. That gave me the idea, but don't use a tornado to find that point.
Great rig and mission videos. Did you get both the truck and the box from Atkinson Vos ? I wouldn't bother about a dual compressor, but I've also had chafed air hoses and supposedly now carry supplies of all necessary nylon pipe and push fittings for the smaller air lines. You can also carry link belting in case of vee belt failures for easy field replacement. A dual alternator is feasible however to allow separate habitation box battery charging and you can cross connect both systems for jump starting or cope with alternator failure. Migration from a U1250 to a U2150 is continuing to bring me many smiles per gallon and Unimogs are 100% more capable than anything I've needed in some heartstopping tracks and river crossings which in my case have delivered magic days in the wilds of Iceland. Persevere with minor age related failures and you'll have a vehicle more reliable than your heartbeat. Hub oil vent kits can be wise for sustained highway travel and CTIS on the U2150 is great, but VERY slow! Happy Mogging.
Hahaha 😂 It's supposed to be a moose, since we named the mog "Moose" it's our little mascot. Admittedly, it is a wonky looking little moose since it's a dog toy we stole from Pablo & Mateo lol. We've been hoping to find a better stuffed moose but no luck yet!
This vehicle is so excessively top heavy - it's scary to drive over serious terrain. Other than that, my Honda CRV could go trough same terrain, but much faster.
... something though. 😅 Don't be offended...😂 You need to get some proper training off road, when you get back home, with a professional teacher couse you look quite to ''fresh'' about the off road driving skills for 7T truch... couse, if something goes wrong when your away from everything, no communication or so?!... you'll have a problem HOUSTON... be aware before happens... and you save the truck's mechanics, though though.❤🎉 HAVE A WONDERFUL LIFE!!!...
@@OurWayToRoam have to buy the stainless steel frame, that stands proud of the tires. yes, you do not get to use the phrase "stands proud" very often and I get extra points in using it here today.
Hi Savannah & Drew, a great trip and probably your first real off-road tours. You're doing well, and there are great pitches waiting for you at the end. That's why you chose the Mog, to reach such beautiful, lonely destinations. Enjoy it, you've been working towards it for a long time. Savannah, you've really got a proper sunburn, it hurts. If it grows in your area, try getting some Aloe Vera jelly (from the leaves). Aloe Vera can help with sunburn relief, reducing skin irritation and promoting wound healing. You can make also healthy drinks out of Aloe Vera, see e.g. How To Prepare Aloe Vera for Eating and Juicing ua-cam.com/video/M5CoT0uvVpI/v-deo.html Wish you a nice onward journey with lots of adventures.
Bad Ass Rig! I was totally sweating and biting my nails watching you guys go up that one Rocky Road. 😅 whew!
Us too! There were some nail biters in this one for sure!
Nico🥰😘😍😚

Good idea! We're hoping to add some tree guards soon and that will help too. Low hanging branches is our achilles heel!
This was a really cool video. I loved the style you guys use. It's a work of art❤ Thanks for showing us something we may never get to see😊
This means so much, thank you!!

The tilts alwayyyyys get us a little nervous 🤪 Not sure that will ever change haha

Crazy the truck handled that slope with a big rock without any rollover, impressive!
Being tilted isn't the most fun but the truck has always handled it so well! From what we've seen so far, it would take a pretty extreme angle to tip it.
loving this storytelling, and the intro was a banger!

Old Arizona driving proverb; Vehicles with their windows rolled down in the summer have the right of way.
Hahaha thats hilarious!
Looks like the Mog is a fun rig. Glad you guys are enjoying it after all the work you put in.

Very helpful for us tall campers!

With a unimog it's not the going up you need to worry about it's the way down .if you start to slide it can get hairy.(Loving this Chanel)
Absolutely! Airing down helps a lot with this. But we were lucky to be going up almost the entire time 🙏🏻
Hey recipe please
Loved it the sites were amazing

Do you have one of those satellite phones, for when you're out in the wilderness?
