I love Michelle and I love makeup so I adore the makeup videos, and I used to be like her - no makeup at all until like Junior year of high school and it was minimal, and now I'm in college I go full glam everyday and it's so fun to sit down for 30-45 minutes everyday and listen to music or watch youtube videos while making myself look gorgeous. I'm glad Michelle likes it and has products that work for her and she feels confident and gorgeous.

I am a big believer that anyone can learn to do makeup and that makeup builds confidence. I know I don't "need" makeup but it makes me have any extra pep in my step and makeup is part of my outfit and look for me. My sister Jensen used to only wear makeup on very special occasions and now she wears it much more day to day and has shown and expressed interest in learning to do makeup at a much higher level.

I think she is trending because 1. she was on buzzfeed 2. the algorithm doesn´t want to put videos about "sensitive" topics on the trending category. By sensitive i mean every content that people argue furious about. A good documentary about isreal for example sparks interest of groups that figh eachother in the comment sections, but lifestyle videos like her content can´t produce a backlash that could UA-cam in trouble for promoting it through their trending category. So they try to be on the safe side by promoting videos that don´t cover sensitive topics.
