I never thought of riding my scooter as Therapy, but there’s some truth to that. I’m glad to know you are feeling better. I’m planning a 10 hour trip to the Dragons Tail. I’m just waiting for warmer days.
I like the video. I’ve been seriously considering buying this AK550 and after watching your video, I think I’m going to do it. I like the acceleration, sound, and handling. Lastly, I know a bit about depression and feel for you brother. Sounds like you are doing ok. It does and will get better.
Hi! Just discovered your videos! I, too, have been battling depression since my teen years (I'm in my late 60s) and find riding motorcycles and scooters helps me out of my funk. It focuses my mind outside myself and makes all the difference. I'm now looking at buying an AK550 and wondering about the seat height. I'm 5'5" and since I've never seen an AK550 in person, don't know if the seat height would be too tall. How tall are you?
You be fine this scooters are very easy to ride . Just get tall riding boots that are easy on your feet . If you're near Southern Arizona . Go AZ motorcycle dealer in Scottsdale Arizona I sold a piaggio mp 3 500 that I gave very good care of . 8600 ml on it . Top cargo trunk loud muffler . Powerful to go on interstate hwy . I just wanted another scooter to buy . Nobody has them in stock .I be seen some of this scooters they not that big . But you have to have some strength to move them around . The mp3 has 3 wheels that Lock easy to move . they got video's on UA-cam . Practice on quiet parking lot the quiet road .

As an AK rider myself…..At 4 minutes why did you drop from 64 mph to 41 mph on the freeway? Also as a Commercial driver, I see a TON of dangerous places in this video. Be safe man. Learn to STAY away from large commercial trucks, stay out of the right lane until ready to exit, do NOT slow your speed while on the freeway to let people slower than you merge. Move over to the left when available, to prevent slowing down traffic behind you. Do NOT let other drivers “drive” your vehicle. Know the rules and laws and be safe. In a mere 40 seconds of this video, as a commercial driver AND an AK 550 rider, I saw sooooo many issues that could have gone bad. The worst one was STAY OUT of the right lane! Way too much going on in that region of the freeway. STAY away from anyone who is just “hanging” out in their lane. STAY away from commercial vehicles…They need their own space. Lastly my take away on this is……Be seen. Do NOT blend in. Get on the freeway…..Ride and get off. Don’t mingle with the crowd. I know you said you were about to exit but it was your set up for that exit that bothered me. Get on, ride and then get off. Complacency can kill you.

That will be a very nice ride, I plan on doing one to the beach which is only about an hour away for me.

Yes for sure, I have very little experience on Freeway and was surprised by the noise.
