That red Tele is stunning as is the LPB Strat. I’ve a Vintera 50s red Tele. Great guitars. Are the vintage tall frets different to the original Vintera vintage frets?
How does the telecaster's neck compare to a modern C? Is it slimmer or chunkier? The new profiles of the Vintera II make choosing a model much more difficult for me and at that $$ I can't afford to be wrong.
The 60s neck is neither slim nor fat. It’s very comfortable - thicker than the Fender Ultra series but certainly not anywhere near “U” or even chunky “C” territory. I don’t like super slim necks but I find it right in the sweet spot. It’s nowhere near my 50s profile Les Pauls but I don’t mind it. The profile plus the 7.25 radius make it my most comfortable neck for fretting chords, thumb wrapping, etc
