Dieses Stück wurde vom Schweizer Euphoniumvirtuosen Eich Schmidli in Auftrag gegeben. Bert Appermont ließ sich tief in die keltische Musik eintauchen und schuf eine Fantasie, die die unglaubliche, aber oft übersehene Vielseitigkeit des Euphoniums demonstriert. Bezaubernde lyrische Melodien, virtuose Läufe und spannende, farbenfrohe Tuttis sorgen in diesem spannenden Werk für reichlich Kontrast.
This piece was commissioned by the Swiss euphonium virtuoso Eich Schmidli. Bert Appermont delved deep into Celtic music and created a fantasy that demonstrates the incredible but often overlooked versatility of the euphonium. Enchanting lyrical melodies, virtuoso runs and exciting, colourful tuttis provide plenty of contrast in this exciting work.

I regret to tell, that the client of this fantastic work, Erich Schmidli has died in 2023, only 69 years old. I was allowed to hear him recite this work wunderfully! Glenn Van Looy continues to play this melody no less gracefully - thank you so much!

hearing this compared to the recording from his Move Their Mind album, this is so incredibly good. His tone feels like a warm hug wrapping around you. Arguably the best player of all time in my opinion, but definitely my favorite
