Bro this is insane! Not only all the bosses in the series with no damage, but you took the time to edit the name of each game in its respective artstyle!! Really congratulations!!
I absolutely adore that you put the effort into making each of the bosses names match the UI placement and font of their respective game, it's really refreshing to see people care about those details. Great video.

Algorithm poison. 20 hour video that most people are just gonna click off of after 3 minutes. It'll take a while before people begin searching for it, finding it, and returning to continue watching.
Doing all the bosses, giving timestamps, their names, getting each game correctly in order, editing, recording while take care of responsibilities, and lot more your a legend my guy
This deserves more attention dude. The fact that you spent a year and a half editing this 19 hour long video is very very impressive. You tried your absolute hardest on this and I respect it. Also If you’re working on something right now, good luck on it! Hope for the best and keep up the good work. ❤️❤️
I often play long walktroughs on backround when doing some art-related activity. This video is a joy to have for such times. Thank you very much. The amount of detail in it is incredible.
this is hands down the best sonic related video i've ever watched, massive congratulations for pushing through the mountain of work this must have been 🔥🔥
Me searching for a castlevania series retrospective and finding a 7.5 hour video full of intriguing commentary: WOW, UA-cam doesn't get any better than this! My feed: *hiccups* hold my beer, boy. Insane effort and quality on this video. Congratulations, you are one of the UA-camrs of time
I NEVER click "like" on videos, even the ones I like. It's a habit of mine to watch but not do that, I just watch... But I made a point of doing that on your video, and also commenting, because just imagining the work it took and imagining the whole process up until the moment of uploading this video to UA-cam and even marking the chapters, you deserve my congratulations, that's what I call determination in creating content...
This is nothing short of an experiment to me but I honestly respect the commitment of jumping every single sonic boss… like, ever! Not even just mainlines!
The fact you went the extra mile in small details like the UI obscuring behind certain elements, or becoming semi-transparent when a character overlaps it, and to also include bosses in prototype versions of games really demands all the respect in the world. Incredible job! I can't imagine a job done better!
This is not a showcase. This is Vergil level motivational content, insane effort dude... Truly astonishing Btw I'm the one who holds the ps4 wr for infinite 1, infinite 3 and metal in sonic forces
Things to consider in this video: - Took OVER A YEAR in order to make it (I'm not sure if gameplay recording and editing counts as both within this period of time). - Showcases the bosses of EVERY Sonic game possible, even the most obscure/forgotten ones, prototype builds of some of those, mobile games, spin-offs and collaborations with other games. - All of them were defeated without getting a SINGLE hit/damage/health loss. - Has a DEDICATED intro for every game appearing upon, most notably basing after their respective loading screens, for example. - Every boss that's being fought on the moment is credited/named ON-SCREEN, also with text fonts based on what was using on each game's HUDs and transparented every time they appear inside them, especially in the 2D games. - Details on editing EVERYWHERE (in which I liked the SA2 part, where the top-right cornered text matches the typing style of the one on center on its bosses' intros, and even in 3:30:55 when it was the only instance of the game a boss' name was texted green instead of white, where even the HUD was also in green and then reverted back to normal after it was defeated). - They are even SUBTITLES for the character lines that weren't on-screen before and/or were hard for listening to, while the ones existed already were re-edited. Also, lyric songs also subtitled too when they appear, so that's a win win. - The video is almost 20 FREAKING hours, making the longest video I've even seen not only on UA-cam, but also in my life, and somehow surpassing the platform's 12-hour limit on a single video, which is crazy, and I'm not even done with it, I watched only the first four hours. - I capitalized words EVERY time I had to consider something (I'm awesome lol). And I'm 3 months late. Shadiochao, you were an absolute BEAST of producing, making, editing and uploading this video that I call a "masterpiece". This is genuinely a huge gift for every Sonic fan, even longtime fans like me when I started playing these game when I was 5. All the effort you made is so rewarded, and this alone explains why this franchise has an incredible, dedicated and heartwarming fan support and community (until when they're arguing about everything everytime non-stop LMAO). Thank you, man. Keep it up! You're the GOAT! 🗣️💜😊💯
I've been on a quest to beat every Sonic game for a couple of years now, and I just saw your video. Not only have you gone above and beyond on the number of games (and even variations of games, jeez) you've played, but you've done each boss DAMAGELESS?!?! I feel humbled in a way, but nonetheless, this is perhaps the greatest gaming feat I have seen in some time, perhaps ever. You keep doing you, random guy I found in my recommendations.
5:49 even the Sonic Genesis font moves slow The footage shows the bosses's patron You include spin offs and crossovers crossing even genres And put the lyrics of songs and subtitles in lines Good Lord how much detail you put man, Awesome job
This is genuinely incredible. The amount of time and effort put into this is just something else. I've been playing Sonic the Hedgehog games for almost 25 years now and I'm seeing ways to defeat bosses without taking damage which I genuinely never knew how to approach (I'd just sacrifice rings to get hits against Eggman and be happy with picking up a few spares afterwards). 11/10. One of the greatest Sonic compilations ever made. Deserves to be hung in the Louve.
I'm 32, Sonic 2 was the very 1st game I had as a kid on Sega Genesis, that and MK3. My grandma bought this bundle from K-Mart where she worked when I was 6. You took me waaayyyy back bro.
Holy hell... you even have the crossover games, mobile games, WakuWaku, the LeapFrog games... this is insane (in a good way). I'm ready to pledge fealty to you as king of the Sonic fans.
This is straight impressive I would’ve just stopped at like Sonic 3 but you did all bosses and that’s really cool I haven’t seen a 20 hour video in a long time so to see this is really awesome
I subbed. You put so much effort into this and just a tiny amount of people above your subscribers watched this. I don’t put a lot of effort into my vids cause I have limited things but this is so good so keep it up brother ❤
Thanks for this trip down memory lane. I remember some of these bosses from my childhood years. When I was 8 years old I randomly tried codes and got the level select secret. up down left right a b c start. I'll never forget that.
Dude this literally deserves more attention, almost a day in playing this? Wow. I cannot believe my eyes that 10K aren’t even ENOUGH. You need the views and subs that you deserve. Wish you good luck :D Hopefully this gets to a million views or more!
@@Shadiochao My fault, I poorly worded that. I wasn't saying that you missed any by mistake, as you have done a magnificent job at this. From what I got from skimming through, the only ones you may have "missed" are a debate of semantics, so I don't really think they are missed. All Mean Bean Machine enemies are exactly the same, but just labeled as bosses. Sonic Shuffle Boss Enemies (the ones who have more HP and hold the Stones) are also like the other regular enemies. And Sonic Chronicles has a SWATBOT right outside of Tail's Lab that is treated special. Some other Twilight Cage species first greet you like a boss, but they are normal enemies as well. I wouldn't usually cite the Workshop SWATBOT as a boss, but his purpose is quite similar to the first Marauder Scout enemy that was counted as a boss in this video. Again, I don't think you actively missed anything from what I saw. I do have a question tho. Were you just playing through the bosses and used saves to just redo these fights, or were you actually just playing all the games and did this video as an addition? It'd be a bit relieving to know someone else is as crazy as me, and playing these awfully absurd and obscure Sonic games. Regardless, I can't overstate how well done this video was made. Impressive work!
@@Thebes No, it's fine, I was just curious about which ones I might have missed. I must have not noticed that SWATBOT. It was the early Marauder I wasn't sure about including, it was really hard to figure out which could be considered bosses for that game, but I noticed the Marauder used the music usually reserved for the bosses. I think the Giant Scorpion from one of the side quests might also qualify, it's the only time you fight one. I played through almost all of the games, especially the ones I hadn't ever played before like the Sonic Boom series. There were a few I didn't though. Knuckles' Chaotix was one of them, the Riders games, and I already had completed saves for a lot of the more recent games that are on Steam
@@Shadiochao So quickly, I am a Chronicles Addict. I was thinking about the Giant Scorpion. I have zero clue why I didn't mention it. And cool stuff! I am forcing myself to complete all the games without any emulator things like save states (not much of a problem later on with actual inherent saving). It's just cool to see someone doing nearly same. Many I am just replaying all the way though.
This is insane! The editing is so good, and I know this must've taken forever not only to edit, but to get to the boss, and then take no damage! You even put in Sonic games I've never even heard of while going damageless. S rank video.
I keep watching all the fights and I keep wondering man when is he going to take damage only to realize not only is this ALL bosses this is damage less. That’s absolutely insane. And not only did you do small games like the mobile, ds, and riders games you EVEN used the Japanese music for Sonic CD. Not all heroes wear capes. Mad respect bro. I’m going to take my time watching this and this is going to be my fall asleep relaxation video when I need it
Sonic has change so much, from innocent hedgehog wants to free cute animals from "Dr. Robotnik" to literally "Savior of the Universe, defeat God, Demon, and Colossus"
4:40:10 Nice, you even included one of the most important Easter Eggs in the game: This is achieved if the fight goes about 9 minutes straight. Then you hear the truth about Shadow
One detail i like about this video is that this person purposely let the bosses showcase all of their attacks while still dodging them, which I found pretty awesome.
People should respect you. This video was probably no easy task and you completed it and with no damage. You are a true legend ( Achievement completed”This is WAR” beat every sonic boss ever with no damage )
We don't appreciate it enough because it was reused in Generations and Forces, but man the original Egg Dragoon is so peak. Falling seamlessly from Eggmanland into the center of the Earth while fighting Eggman is such an incredible setting
A truly inspiring video, makes me want to take a crack at something similar for Ys or Silent Hill At the same time though, I do not have the time or patience for such a feat You sir, are an absolute legend
At first I thought it'd just be a fun little project that would only take a month or two but I underestimated how many bosses there were and it took waaaay longer than I expected
It took some real digging, but I have found one debatable omission to this video. Sonic the Hedgehog for the Leapfrog Didj. The bosses are recycled from older entries more or less verbatim, but the game itself is different enough from its sources that one could make the argument that they should be included. In particular because what is normally Carnival Night Zone's Act 2 boss is instead fought in Hydrocity with slightly different mechanics. That aside, I truly can't find anything else you might have missed. This is exceptionally comprehensive and high effort. Well done
I've got the last two bosses from Sonic Didj here, alongside the Sonic 2 bosses: 00:17:46 I wish they were in better quality, but the options were pretty limited I didn't include the first two because Emerald Hill's boss is just the same fight as normal And the main difference with Carnival Night Zone's boss is that you can hit him whenever because he flies lower. Which would normally count as changing how the fight plays out, but when you fight him in Sonic 3 that's already possible because of the insta-shield
Small Note about 41:50 - Big Arms will only appear for Sonic/Tails if Sonic 3 is played on it's own. Sonic 3 and Knuckles will progress to the next stage automatically after Beam Rocket and Big Arms is skipped. He instead appears as the stage boss for Knuckles due to the different stage. Also on the original cart at 47:40 Egg Robo DOES NOT appear on the boss, it's just regular eggman put there for space.
This is a nostalgia overload, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. The one unfortunate takeaway I had, though, is from the Sonic 3 & Knuckles games. I noticed that the original OST was replaced with SEGA's version. Probably a copyright infringement issue, I assume. Other than that, excellent work!

This deserves a LOT more support
How you go and defeat 642 BOSSES , no damage, including the discontinued games in a ~20 HOUR video....it. is. gobsmacking. Nothing but respect sire
Unmatched appreciation and dedication to one of the best series’ of all time 💜
This is so fucking underated, he took a year to make the video, all of the editing, effort and he hasnt reached 10k subcribers nor 100k views on this yet in 12 days. you deserve WAY more respect so much more words cant describe it..
Algorithm poison. 20 hour video that most people are just gonna click off of after 3 minutes. It'll take a while before people begin searching for it, finding it, and returning to continue watching.
@@sky_pirate i mean ur not wrong i guess
The sheer dedication is astounding. This needs to be recognized! I’m subbing for this.
this is hands down the best sonic related video i've ever watched, massive congratulations for pushing through the mountain of work this must have been 🔥🔥
Every like i get i will rewatch it
Why, another 17 hours again
WHYYYYYYYY
@@SenOverlord234 Here is another like lol. 😂
Please keep us updated, that's another rewatch
He's gonna be here a while
You get my entire respect for editing this.
THIS is a real Boss rush.
Thanks for the guide, I was really struggling on the boss at 7:33 but you've opened my eyes to some new tactics.
I hope this is a joke
Fr Bro,why did they choose such an hard boss for the first zone :(
You put a year into this and only 1k views? We're proud of you. Good job
Someone must've changed in the algorithm, this has way more views. Can't believe they didn't all sub though
I JEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THE DAY A VIDEO LIKE THIS WOULD RELEASE
LIKE OH MY GOODNESS,20 HOURS?!?!
NOTHING BUT RESPECT
51:30 this cutscene is majestic
The change in 2:14:03 to match the bait and switch from Fang to Eggman is perfect.
BRROO, That's Insane, I Didn't Expect You Beat The Entire Intense Bosses, Respect 😎👍(For Whole 20 Hours)
This is not a showcase. This is Vergil level motivational content, insane effort dude... Truly astonishing
Btw I'm the one who holds the ps4 wr for infinite 1, infinite 3 and metal in sonic forces
One year of dedication to beat all the bosses, EVEN THE MORE LESS KNOWN ONES. And your editing is fantastic!
You are an ABSOLUTE MADMAN in the best way possible
Dude this is fricking awesome I’ve learned so new new bosses now like the sonic jam easy mode ones I hope this gets more fame
I never played any sonic games but now im here to watch it
Things to consider in this video:
- Took OVER A YEAR in order to make it (I'm not sure if gameplay recording and editing counts as both within this period of time).
YOU DISCOVERED THE DIDJ VERSON OF SONIC 2 (16-BIT) & MANY OTHER VERSONS OF SONIC GAMES THAT WE DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED
Wdym?
@@xthegreat8421 double check the video
I like the fact that this video even includes the prototype versions of the bosses! Nice detail
This is...awesome...the best...outstanding...and thoughtful. Thanks for doing this!
You are an absolute connsiour of sonic sir. You deserve a medal. An inspiration to all of us.
51:29 still my all time favorite Robotnik fight in the Genesis games. Sonic team was really in their bag with the presentation.
5:49 even the Sonic Genesis font moves slow
The footage shows the bosses's patron
You include spin offs and crossovers crossing even genres
And put the lyrics of songs and subtitles in lines
Good Lord how much detail you put man, Awesome job
I love how you make sure to show all the attacks.
This deserves millions of views.
Wow, amazing job!! This deserves to have way more views!
this is such a good compilation it deserves more views
This is amazing. You’ve captured the gameplay so well. Can’t imagine the pain of it all. But the details are a nice touch.
"hey ferb, i know what we're doing today"
This guy's either crazy, an insomniac gamer, or just plain skilled. I vote the latter. And I saw Dark Brotherhood on here... Such an underated title.
I applaud your effort in making this video from one creator to another gg and thank you for your time
This madman even did Sonic Jam. Props to you 👏
that's incredible! Good job
Make sure this gets archived it is most certainly history.
2:29 What I like about this fight in particular is that you get two options to hit Eggman
I like how you put the fonts in the games as the text in the video
I'll never forget that.
it's almost unbelievable seeing the advance 2 bosses being beaten with no damage
You are officially the Sonic Master.
Dude this literally deserves more attention, almost a day in playing this? Wow. I cannot believe my eyes that 10K aren’t even ENOUGH. You need the views and subs that you deserve.
Wish you good luck :D
Hopefully this gets to a million views or more!
Oh mecha sonic from sonic 2. I'll never forget when I realized just as he lands for the first time, you can get 2 hits in. ❤
Brain: It's 2:12 AM, please go to sleep. We got work in like 4 hours...
Me: No, I must witness this
this man even included speed sim.
mad respect.
Don't have anything to say but i thought i'd comment to boost this in the algorithm because the effort that was put into this is insane.
Genuinely was thinking, "I've played these super obscure ones, so let's check for them."
Nearly none were missed, this is awesome my guy!
Which ones were missing? Maybe they were games that didn't have any bosses in them
@@Shadiochao My fault, I poorly worded that.
We gotta appreciate how you took like 20 hours and you put effort into this video thank you man
This is insane! The editing is so good, and I know this must've taken forever not only to edit, but to get to the boss, and then take no damage! You even put in Sonic games I've never even heard of while going damageless. S rank video.
BROOOOO THIS AMAZING
I keep watching all the fights and I keep wondering man when is he going to take damage only to realize not only is this ALL bosses this is damage less. That’s absolutely insane. And not only did you do small games like the mobile, ds, and riders games you EVEN used the Japanese music for Sonic CD. Not all heroes wear capes. Mad respect bro. I’m going to take my time watching this and this is going to be my fall asleep relaxation video when I need it
This must eventually get at least 10 million views for your work.
you called it flickie's island i now instantly respect you for doing all of this
Yooo super job! how did you managed to do 20 hours video and no fame? underrated
Truly impressive : - )
One can also notice how SEGA upped the quality of boss fights with every release of a new classic Sonic
Wow. 20 hours?! Hats off to the OG vid uploader!
Alright, this definitely deserves a favorite
People should respect you. This video was probably no easy task and you completed it and with no damage. You are a true legend ( Achievement completed”This is WAR” beat every sonic boss ever with no damage )
We don't appreciate it enough because it was reused in Generations and Forces, but man the original Egg Dragoon is so peak. Falling seamlessly from Eggmanland into the center of the Earth while fighting Eggman is such an incredible setting
A truly inspiring video, makes me want to take a crack at something similar for Ys or Silent Hill
At the same time though, I do not have the time or patience for such a feat
You sir, are an absolute legend
I feel very bad for you, it took over a year for you to record and edit the video, this definitely needs more views than what it currently has
At first I thought it'd just be a fun little project that would only take a month or two
but I underestimated how many bosses there were and it took waaaay longer than I expected
Very good and nice editing! Labour of love! You only missed one unique boss as far as I can tell@@Shadiochao
Well done
I've got the last two bosses from Sonic Didj here, alongside the Sonic 2 bosses: 00:17:46
I wish they were in better quality, but the options were pretty limited
I didn't include the first two because Emerald Hill's boss is just the same fight as normal
And the main difference with Carnival Night Zone's boss is that you can hit him whenever because he flies lower. Which would normally count as changing how the fight plays out, but when you fight him in Sonic 3 that's already possible because of the insta-shield
@@Shadiochao So you do! It's my fault for not looking at your video closer then.
Thats one of most impressive things on UA-cam. I'll watch every second
Thanks for all the effort! Commenting so it doesn't go unnoticed!
I am actually bewildered by how easy you made the Labyrinth zone boss look. I could never have that precision, timing, or patience to pull that off 😂
This is a truly amazing accomplishment. I could never manage to beat most of these bosses without any damage
Did you also edit in subtitles for the voice clips that didn't have them? You didn't even have to do that. Real nice.
this needs way more recognition
