Man this must be one of the most difficult choices to make in a Telltale game. Not only do you have to choose between which character deserves it the most (since all of them were unjustly taken from their significant) but you have to choose between people in a spectrum of love familiarity; a soulmate, a child, a sibling, and a parent. I mean my god.
True...this is really sad for me to watch because this is an entirely different moral choice than any other choice ever in any Telltale game perhaps. Having an entire walkthrough of this game, all endings are good in their own way, and are really touching...
MisterDrTran Very well said. The only thing I'd disagree with is that (for me, at least) it was one of the hardest choices in any game, not just a Telltale game.
Easy choice for me. Rocket and Lylla were caged and experimented on. They deserve the freedom. The others got to spend a lot of time together with their missed ones.

I revived lylla because rocket got virtually no time with her when compared to the others. Peters mom was around him for years, same with drax and his daughter. Ok. Here's my thoughts. Bringing Nebula would be a nice go but Gamora isn't suffering that much with her loss. She got the Guardians and Peter and her relationship with Nebula was always a rocky road. Bringing Drax's daughter is really good BUT it falls into the problem of only being able to bring his daughter and not his wife. Peter's Mom is an obvious call. It is fair to bring her back but Peter seems to have moved on from that loss compared with the others. Also it is more likely for Peter to want to give them someone they lost rather than have her back. Lylla is kinda a logical choice here due her death being the solemnly reason of Rocket being such an ass, constantly fighting with Gamora, and unable to get over her death no matter how much of a bravado he tries to show. Also the benefit of healing Rocket(being much less of a jerk and moody), having two amazing engineers, and another female companionship for Gamora is a total win-win for everyone.
Beakwood a.k.a Adregallus You do know that Drax's daughter is Moondragon, right? And that she's a member of the Guardians of the galaxy in the comics? She's actually more useful than Lylla. More importantly, in the comics, her mother is the only one dead and Drax is clearly prioritizing his daughter and Drax's wife would likely want her daughter to be the one who comes back to life.
This isn't Moondragon. Not even close. Plus, Kamaria is just a child. Moondragon is a bald psychic lesbian who killed Drax once, before he was brought back minus half his brain cells, and that's long before he assumed his current appearance and powers... yeah, best to forget that. Nebula would be the most useful in a fight. Lylla might be able to help with the ship, but probably not much else, although she might keep Rocket quiet. Kamaria is just a child, and Meredith probably wants to go back to Earth and isn't much help in any event.
Nebula - Another powerful assassin. Tactical strategy-wise, she would be a great choice to be in the Guardians. Kamaria - Emotional support to Drax but won't help the team much. Drax might not be as reckless. Mom Quill - Can't do much. Emotional support to Peter in a negative way.. he won't likely due to risky stunts and constantly have to protect her. Even if she goes back to Earth, it is completely different than the time she died. Lylla - Emotional support to Rocket which is a huge + and will calm Rocket down. Also she got engeineering skills said to be greater than Rocket. Most valuable member to the team imo. Conclusion - Either Nebula or Lylla are perfect revives. But I'll go with Lylla since with her and Rocket working together, their missions will go much more smoothly.

Nebula, every time. His mom died, yes. He'll never get over it, but she made him who he is and he's got no right to pull her into the shit he's dealing with. Rocket? Lylla died, yes. It was sad, but facing certain doom and/or torture, dying isn't exactly the worst that could happen. Drax? What part of the Warrior's Path involves dying, being saved and then coming back? At best, she'd be a second-class citizen. At worst, she'd be a pet to a Drax that would deny her living the culture she grew up in, just because she had faced the troubles that faced everyone in that culture, died and was brought back.
I went for the classic destroy the forge to prevent Thanos being rezzed but in the process crushing all the biggest dreams of everyone I love & still probably having Thanos come back due to after credit bullshittery...Yay! :/ I freaking loved this game tho, really did the Guardians & their characters justice.
The hardest choice of them all and I don't want to abstain. Each of them deserve to be resurrected for their own reasons. None being bigger than the others. But Lylla is my choice. Rocket is the one I sided with every chance I could, and I'm not about to turn my back on him now. But I can't help but be sad that I couldn't resurrect at least one more person.
I resurrected Lylla. I found her death to be the saddest. And (in my opinion) Rocket was the one who seemed the most traumatised by the death of his loved one. Her death also seemed to be the most pointless and cruelest death of them all (petes mom is very close though). I feel like Nebula is better of dead in a sense (shes just so damaged both mentally and physically). And reviving just one of Draxs family members feels "unfulfilling" to me.
Bit of an old comment but I also resurrected Lylla. I felt like Rocket was the most deserving to have someone he loved be bought back. Not to mention that he hardly had any, if at all, happy memories with her. He had the least amount of closure with her as well. I was very surprised to see in the credits though, that hardly anyone chose her. But I felt like I made the right choice.
Yeah... Lylla herself was apparently never free and only knew pain and captivity. Out of all of them, she had the least chance to do anything in life. And without her, Rocket is basically alone in the whole universe when it comes to having a mate. He could substitute his solitude with this weird collection of friends he has for a time... but later when those friends find somebody, he wouldn't have anyone and he'd get reminded of his loss again. Also, in the whole story, there was not a single event that would help Rocket to move on. All he could get would be some dialog from Pete that would either be consoling him like "I will be here for you"... or a harsh love like "just get over it already". And nobody but Pete really acknowledged Rocket's suffering, except when all of them hastily tried to prove their selflessness in the last scene. But before that, it was just insults and neglect towards Rocket. And since Pete was the only one who felt for Rocket at least a bit, to me it wouldn't feel right to make Peter not resurrect Lylla.
I like how we got all different variations on who to choose. A parent, a child, a sibling, and a loved one. I personally went with drax because losing your child is the worst out of all of them in my opinion.
this is why I love telltale, it gives you so many choices (limited but still) it gives so many scenarios, and you chose to either destroy the forge or keep it to later revive someone. everyone here can express their opinion on who they want. Im having such a hard time to chose because its unfair
Logically, for me it would be Kamaria. Rocket's path was rocky but he seems to be well on the path to healing. Thinking as Peter, I don't think I could ever endure seeing my Mom die a 2nd time or worrying her half to death with my suicidal adventures. Or worse, see me die. Nebula would be a close 2nd, but no parent should have to bury their child. And if I was a Dad, I can't imagine how broken I'd be if my little girl dies.
Reviving Peter’s mom made me cry the hardest, losing someone to cancer is the worst, and it made me think of my grandma, and how I’d give anything to see her again. Sorry it’s a bit sappy but it’s honestly just how I felt.
I destroyed the artifact, which seems like a smart thing to do in a world of galactic threats, but I chose to say goodbye to Peter’s mom in the end. While I would have loved to have seen one of these, I think all of the characters have, for the most part, moved in from their pain. And it would also feel unfair to just revive simply one of these people… Honestly, this is an underrated Telltale game. Not only is it just a fun game with a good story, but it also has more complex choices that ACTUALLY matter.
I feel like letting the forge die is the most true to the story. The whole series followed each member of the team letting go and moving on from their losses. Letting the forge die re-establishes that they’re happy where they are and don’t need their loved ones brought back to feel complete. Resurrecting a loved one for any of the Guardians kinda feels like a step back for the character that you choose to help.
shit i destroyed the forge ! i did not thought of the forge being available in the ending ! now i need to play that episode again with a different save to change my story !!!
@@slenderfan-101j.g.4 true but I think most people would choose lylla because she was the one who had less closure and basically just saw the sun and spent only a few months with rocket while drax’s daughter spent at least 10 years with him
I knew you could resurrect one person in the end. And i was just thinking constantly "Ok, i'll definitely resurrect Lylla" But when i had to make that choice i was there for like 10 minutes just thinking if i should do it.
Me: I have some free time to myself today, what should I- UA-cam: you're gonna cry about a space otter being in love with a genetically-altered raccoon and you're gonna like it
I chose Kamaria, because she was the youngest. The others already had their lives, had their choices (except, maybe, for Lylla - I chose her next on my second replay). Kamaria is still a child, she has so much ahead of her.
The choice I respect the most is letting the Forge die. It shows that Peter isn’t playing favorites among his teammates and they all will show him respect in return.
@@JabamiLain Yes, but this would actually cause a riff between the Guardians. From the perspective of maintaining friendships, it’s healthier to accept the loss and move on.
@@michaelmonthey5974 and that's enough reason to justify keeping a person in their prematurely dead state ? Because they're some sort of device that can cause a rift ? These are people we are talking about.
@@JabamiLain I would have been more supportive if the Forge could bring them all back, but if it can only bring back just one of them, then it’s not worth it.
Nebulas death brought closure for gamora in her death for me and drax found new purpose to live after the wrom thing for me so the choice was easily Peters mom although it took me awhile to think what happened over the course of the game to chose
I would always pick Lylla. As her end struck me so hard in my heart that Rocket's grief is my own. I would not pick Nebula, as Gamora was consistently against keeping the forge. And there is even a possible outcome in the game where Nebula doesn't die. I wouldn't chose Peter's mother, because no matter if she lives or if she's dead, she wouldn't be part of his life anymore. What would an adult space adventurer that constantly risks his life do with his mother? Where would she stay? Resurrecting her only to drop her on some planet doesn't seem very nice choice to me. (Unless Pete would take Rocket's joke that she'd become a pilot seriously.) And I would say he'd only make her worried. It's hard with Kamaria, since she'd be my second choice. I just thought that Drax seemed to take her loss better than how Rocket took Lylla's. For Drax, he lost his purpose, but he could surely find a new one later. But Rocket has lost his mate that was apparently the only one of his kind and despite he is trying his best to hide it, we know that without her he will be forever alone. Yeah, he will have friends, but... him having friends just feels as something alleviating his terrible fate, rather than true fulfillment. I don't think that him being over it would last very long.
I picked Lylla because 1. Rocket was like the loneliest of all of them 2. Drax was more of a family person and he was happy with his new family 3. Nebula was around for like the whole game 4. I wasn’t gonna be selfish and revive his mom
You know what? I gotta say, I was afraid that this game was gonna suck after the first two episodes and today I finally finished the last three. The last two episodes were definitely the best and were packed with a ton of emotion. Once again telltale didn't dissapoint me, I now feel more invested in these characters and probably like them more than any other hero in the marvel universe.
I'd let the forge die. cuz, Let's face it, all of em deserve to be brought back and I'd kinda feel shitty to bring only one of em back. the guardians were ready to move on and it seemed like everyone got over their past and I wouldn’t wanna mess that up by pouring salt on their wounds again.
So , a house is burning and you have to save , your friend daughter , your mom , the girlfriend of one of your friend and the sister of your "girlfriend" ...; It's basicly the same choice , you have the choice to save one of them , letting all of them "die" isthe worst choice to do...
If they are already dead and it´s not by your fault, then it´s nothing bad If you can save them and you don´t do it, Then everything is wrong with that
"If they are already dead and it´s not by your fault, then it´s nothing bad" It's bad , you let him remain dead... it's the same thing , you do nothing for them.
Nebula was the obvious choice to revive someone while still making it the fairest. She hasn't stayed dead for long, and she was already a guardian, not only Gamora would appreciate having her back.
Finished the game today. The choice for revival was easy: Nebula was not killed, so she was not an option for revival. "Mom" had obviously given up hope throughout the whole game. Kamaria had very little screen time, so I didn't have time to start caring about her. Lylla, despite having little screen time like Kamaria, gave her life to save her friend Rocket. She deserved to see Rocket again.
I already started working on a non-profit project based on these scenes. It will be a collection of stories non-canon of each other, with each taking place after whichever character you revived including a fifth story for if you let the Forge die! There will also be a different villain for each story continuity (eg. Korvac for the story after Kamaria's revival, Lord Dyvyne/Judson Jakes - Lylla's revival, Kang the Conqueror - Meredith's [Mom] revival)! The working title is Guardians of the Galaxy: Forge Chronicles.
I destroyed the artifact, which seems like a smart thing to do in a world of galactic threats, but I chose to say goodbye to Peter’s mom in the end. While I would have loved to have seen one of these, I think all of the characters have, for the most part, moved in from their pain. Not only is it just a fun game with a good story, but it also has more complex choices that ACTUALLY matter.
Kinda unsprisenly Quill's Mom turns out to be my least favorite option, wright next to Drax's daughter. I'm glad I choose Lylla. She has the best dialogues, also I feel like Rocket deserves happiness the most. Also I saved Nebula, so I don't have to ressurect her.
I think Kamaria is the best choice because Lyla won't be revived as the same person she was, too much time has passed for Meredith to be able to adapt properly to the new world and Nebula's last wish was to die so Gamora could move on from their time with Thanos, and I think we should honor her wish.
Mom seems the best option. It brings most of the member happy. But I do think in this situation I would choose draxs daughter. But it’s just a game so it don’t matter
My choices would be for Lylla and Kamaria because Kamaria was a little girl and Lylla was tortured all of her like and didn't get to see the sky for more than a minute

:/ I freaking loved this game tho, really did the Guardians & their characters justice.
why no world pod srry groot your left out :(
but groot wanted for star lord to revive his mother so thats the choice
The hardest choice of them all and I don't want to abstain. Each of them deserve to be resurrected for their own reasons. None being bigger than the others. But Lylla is my choice. Rocket is the one I sided with every chance I could, and I'm not about to turn my back on him now. But I can't help but be sad that I couldn't resurrect at least one more person.
11:40 is the exact reason to bring back Quill's mom. Seriously, that part was funnier than "She just told your deepest darkest secret" from the movie.
I feel the same because rocket had such a horrible life and lylla was one the only one that was there for him before the guardians
True but Peter's mom was killed by his father (He put a tumor in her head)
@@trollstian3578 haha you thought commeintg after a year was a while?!?!?!
I chose Lylla. Rocket’s backstory legit made me cry, I felt so sad for him.
5:03 oh drax , i died from laughter xD
I like how we got all different variations on who to choose. A parent, a child, a sibling, and a loved one. I personally went with drax because losing your child is the worst out of all of them in my opinion.
I'm impressed that TT made the people you can resurrect only female. That way, Mantis doesn't have to change her dialogue to turn "her" into "him".
And that saved them, what... a single line's worth of dialogue worth of voice acting expenses?
I didn't use the term "save", but I guess so, yeah.
um hello world pod anybody?
The rocket and lylla hurts even more after u know what’s happens in gotg vol 3 😞😢
The Rocket one is really touching to me.
Because lylla just wanted to see outside again.
this is why I love telltale, it gives you so many choices (limited but still) it gives so many scenarios, and you chose to either destroy the forge or keep it to later revive someone. everyone here can express their opinion on who they want. Im having such a hard time to chose because its unfair
Picked Rocket and Lylla cause i think Rocket is the one that got the least closure out of all of them
Choose Lylla...Love her and Rocket together
“LITTLE PETEY!! HAHAHAHAHA THIS WILL NEVER NOT BE FUNNY!”
Drax is the best
Morally I wish all could be resurected. But I cant imagine the pain a parent could have losing their child. I couldnt help myself
No parent should ever have to go through the loss of a child, so I chose Kamaria.
I agree the ending be so emotional and best if all came back
Agreed
Reviving Peter’s mom made me cry the hardest, losing someone to cancer is the worst, and it made me think of my grandma, and how I’d give anything to see her again. Sorry it’s a bit sappy but it’s honestly just how I felt.
I destroyed the artifact, which seems like a smart thing to do in a world of galactic threats, but I chose to say goodbye to Peter’s mom in the end. While I would have loved to have seen one of these, I think all of the characters have, for the most part, moved in from their pain. And it would also feel unfair to just revive simply one of these people…
Honestly, this is an underrated Telltale game. Not only is it just a fun game with a good story, but it also has more complex choices that ACTUALLY matter.
I love how mantis smiles every time she sees a memory
Imagine, an object that can bring people back to life is easily damaged by a crashed spaceship.
Btw, Telltale is back. Hope we get a Season 2.
telltale is back?

@@streamer_memer honestly it's just an issue, but if it is true, they probably make a new start and not continuing from season 2 ending
Just beat the game and revived Lyla, because the poor space otter never got the chance to properly live outside that lab like everyone else.
I would choose Lylla! Rocket and her deserve to be together, plus Rocket could teach her his mechanical skills to make for a very useful crew member!
I’ll be honest here. Nebula seems like the best pick to resurrect
Since she’s the only one who’s not part of a past to let go
I feel like letting the forge die is the most true to the story.
I sincerely hope that in season 2 of this game, we can find a way to bring them all back to life.
shit i destroyed the forge ! i did not thought of the forge being available in the ending ! now i need to play that episode again with a different save to change my story !!!
Damn tough choice, I'd say kamaria. After playing every god of war game, I think it's best just to give drax his daughter back
I wish I had this choice, I would of chose Drax's daughter or Lylla.
Cole 999 that's what I'm going to do
Kamaria is ALWAYS my choice, a child's life is worth fighting for
@@slenderfan-101j.g.4 true but I think most people would choose lylla because she was the one who had less closure and basically just saw the sun and spent only a few months with rocket while drax’s daughter spent at least 10 years with him
I knew you could resurrect one person in the end. And i was just thinking constantly "Ok, i'll definitely resurrect Lylla"
But when i had to make that choice i was there for like 10 minutes just thinking if i should do it.
See Ilya being brought back after Guardians of the Galaxy 3 hit different 🥲
I was gonna resurrect peters mom but now I said fuck it rocket need lyla
No parent should bury their child. I choose Drax's Daughter
Me: I have some free time to myself today, what should I-
UA-cam: you're gonna cry about a space otter being in love with a genetically-altered raccoon and you're gonna like it
Bringing Peter's mom back is the best ending
Steve Rogers agreed. i think this choice and scene after that is more complete and best..
After watching Guardians 3. I just had to buy this game just to bring back Lylla. Fck man. Rocket 😢
Lylla is the best choice. She never had the chance of have an actual life, she was traped in the lab until she died.
I love how everyone’s reactions are that they will “Never Forget That”. It shows just how much this moment means to them.
I chose Kamaria, because she was the youngest. The others already had their lives, had their choices (except, maybe, for Lylla - I chose her next on my second replay). Kamaria is still a child, she has so much ahead of her.
After GotG3 I just have to pick Lylla
Couldn’t agree more
Kamaria, She has the most potential and no parent should have to bury their child.
Personally I would pick drax’s daughter.
Caleb Stults me too
Dude Rocket goes full good guy if you pick Lylla
So Peter and his mommy are the same age now!? His future stepdad could be he same age too!
3:30 "You..you guys...you guys are the best friends I could ask for, but don't you dare tell anyone I said that!"
Awww. Rocket!! ^_^
I choose Kamaria because she was just a child. Was hard though.
after seeing guardians 3 it really made me want to go with lylla
TELLTALE! Are you trying to break my heart into four agonizing pieces!?
Haven't played the game, would def resurrect Lylla after seeing the movie. ik it's not canon to telltale but it still is soo sad
Since this is Telltale we can assume season 2 episode 1 begins with whoever you revived dying?
I Think that would happen in The Walking Death but i don´t think here will happen
Or someway for the other three to come back
I hope they get to do it, even if it's done with them owned by Epic Games
@@Famix telltale is over , their company is shuted down , TWD is being finished by Skybound Games. There won't be a second season of GOTG.
It'sJustCasey That's sad.
The choice I respect the most is letting the Forge die. It shows that Peter isn’t playing favorites among his teammates and they all will show him respect in return.
But...those people had their lives stolen. This goes beyond the Guardians, you're giving those beings a second chance.
@@JabamiLain Choosing one life over another always causes a riff between friends.
Nebulas death brought closure for gamora in her death for me and drax found new purpose to live after the wrom thing for me so the choice was easily Peters mom although it took me awhile to think what happened over the course of the game to chose
I think most logical person to be revived is whoever has the longest lifespan.....lol. That ought to be Kamaria
I’d choose Peter’s mom as she gave the most happiness to everyone after she was revived I feel like.
TOOO MENY FEEELING FOR ME I CANT TAKE IT *CRYING*
I wished lylla, drax's family, and peter's mom are in guardians of the galaxy 3
Yep we got Lylla on the trailer
The Destroy ending feels more heartfelt and emotional though.
Totally agree, Peter having one last meeting with his mother and the moment where she disappears it was heartbreaking.
sonpanchan Yeah, I had dancing in the moonlight play as he met his mother one last time
it just seemed the fairest, lylla has never experienced freedom before so it was a pity that she was killed before she could ever taste freedom
I picked Lylla because
1. Rocket was like the loneliest of all of them
2. Drax was more of a family person and he was happy with his new family
3. Nebula was around for like the whole game
4. I wasn’t gonna be selfish and revive his mom
You know what? I gotta say, I was afraid that this game was gonna suck after the first two episodes and today I finally finished the last three. The last two episodes were definitely the best and were packed with a ton of emotion. Once again telltale didn't dissapoint me, I now feel more invested in these characters and probably like them more than any other hero in the marvel universe.
the best part is nobodies angry about any of the decisions
I hate that everyone seems to have forgotten this game because it was so good. Sadly it's not even available to buy from stores such as the PS store
Yeah it was a great underrated game.
So , a house is burning and you have to save , your friend daughter , your mom , the girlfriend of one of your friend and the sister of your "girlfriend" ...;
It's basicly the same choice , you have the choice to save one of them , letting all of them "die" isthe worst choice to do...
Ma´Rakha one thing is SAVE, another is REVIVE
Both make someone live , and if you don't , they both die or stay dead.
If they are already dead and it´s not by your fault, then it´s nothing bad
If you can save them and you don´t do it, Then everything is wrong with that
"If they are already dead and it´s not by your fault, then it´s nothing bad"
It's bad , you let him remain dead... it's the same thing , you do nothing for them.
Almost made me cry, It's almost impossible to choose between who deserves it to come back from the death.
Nebula was the obvious choice to revive someone while still making it the fairest. She hasn't stayed dead for long, and she was already a guardian, not only Gamora would appreciate having her back.
I tink kamila makes more sence no One should lose his daghter
I revived Kamaria first but on my second try I revived Peter's mammy
Finished the game today. The choice for revival was easy:
Nebula was not killed, so she was not an option for revival.
"Mom" had obviously given up hope throughout the whole game.
Kamaria had very little screen time, so I didn't have time to start caring about her.
Lylla, despite having little screen time like Kamaria, gave her life to save her friend Rocket. She deserved to see Rocket again.
I can imagine when Nebula is Resurrected, she gets her long blond hair back. That's to say if this is the MCU.
I wonder if Peter said "They're my idiots" I wonder what his mom's reaction would be?
I already started working on a non-profit project based on these scenes. It will be a collection of stories non-canon of each other, with each taking place after whichever character you revived including a fifth story for if you let the Forge die! There will also be a different villain for each story continuity (eg. Korvac for the story after Kamaria's revival, Lord Dyvyne/Judson Jakes - Lylla's revival, Kang the Conqueror - Meredith's [Mom] revival)! The working title is Guardians of the Galaxy: Forge Chronicles.
And where might these stories be found?
Knowhere (literally)! I haven't finished them, so they don't exist yet!
Well, I'm definitely interested in giving them a look-see when they're done.
No matter what you do gamora still friends zones you
Kinda unsprisenly Quill's Mom turns out to be my least favorite option, wright next to Drax's daughter. I'm glad I choose Lylla. She has the best dialogues, also I feel like Rocket deserves happiness the most. Also I saved Nebula, so I don't have to ressurect her.
I wish they made a choice that would allow all four of them to be revived.
What if they made an option to revive the forge that might’ve worked
Me too mate. Everybody deserved to have their loved ones back
Drax is totally the funniest character.
Lyllas the best choice I swore it’s heart melting❤️
I say Lylla because rocket seemed more upset and with her back it might help him become a better person and Drax has already moved on from his past
Yeah, but Drax still mourns for his family he just doesn't show it
I chose no one. I chose to leave the past in the past and to move forward. God damn that was hard.
