My wife went while I stayed home with the kiddos. She played 27 unique games with Alex and the gang. We both went last year and it is such a wonderful little convention.

The city near me has a board game cafe - it’s like the board game library, you go get a board game from the top floor and go play it and they’ve got desserts, sandwiches and drinks

Your enthusiasm for these games was so fun to watch! I'm currently playing Harvest in alpha on Board Game Arena, and I immediately thought that this was like Agricola. It's the kind of game that makes me want to try it again as soon as I am done to see if I can play better the next time. As for Tranquility, I just found out that my kids play that game on the side on BGA while waiting for their turn on our game night -- and they didn't add me!
I really like the art of Fit to Print. Definitely could see myself checking that one out.

I love hidden information games.
For me, they are hit or miss, but lately I've been finding some I love! I think the only ones I really dislike are hidden movement games like Fury of Dracula.
