    Here’s my theory about the Amanda timeframe: season 1 occurs over the course of abojt 6 months with Mando having weeks of laying low protecting Grogu between episodes… jump to season two and we have a gap of about a year with mando chasing dead end after dead end to find Jedi, but the actual events of the season occur over the course of about a month.. then between the end of Chapter 16 and the post credits scene with Boba is about 3 months (they all would’ve needed time to reconnect and Boba and Fennec would need time to plan their invasion of Jabbas Castle), then the events of Boba occur over the course of 6 months, which seems like a lot, but considering that Mando had time to refund his clan AND build a spaceship.. it was a while.. then season 3 picks up shortly after like maybe a week or two.. SO when you add it all up it’s about 2 and a half years..

      Wow, excellent analysis. Yes, I think about 2 1/2 years between the beginning of Mando S1 and the beginning of Mando S3 makes alot of sense. I hope they give us further clues at a later point, but I think your chronology works very well. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

    Omg!! I only caught the one reference, which was the terminator one and I thought it was hilarious! 😂 i’ve been a huge Schwarzenegger fan for decades and I can’t believe I missed the other references you got. 😑😆 I haven’t seen anyone else talking about all these references you got in any other videos or comments. This is a great video!! 😁👏🏼👏🏼

    I think that most of us have misunderstanded Favreu. He meant 2 real time years have passed since mandalorian S2 finale

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, I definitely wondered the same thing myself. If that's the case, then if we add in the time that has passed since Mando S1, does that mean Mando S3 starts in BBY 13 (2 years between S1 and S2 and another 2 between S2 and S3)? I hope they do clarify it soon. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

    4:15 It's actually IG-11 in this. IG-88 is the one from The Empire Strikes Back

      Oh how funny...I said IG-88 out of habit (loved those bounty hunters from Star Wars: Ep 5), but I think I need to put a dollar in the penalty jar for that one. Thanks for pointing it out. And appreciate all your excellent comments on the discord server!

    I think maybe Favreau was talking about the real life time between seasons, although I still think there’s been quite some time. Navarro is a lot cleaner than it was in season 1

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому +1

      Great feedback! Yes, I think Favreau's comments were not worded specifically enough to make any firm decisions. I do think he implied that some time has passed since the beginning of Mando S1 and the beginning of Mando S3 (perhaps a few years...perhaps more), which makes alot of sense. The question is really how much time was Grogu with Luke. Hope they answer that definitively in the future! Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

    To me, the whole "I need a marshal" thing is definitely setting up the return of Cobb Vanth. I really enjoyed his character for the little time he was present in both Season 2 and TBOBF. Also, the IG droid is IG-11, IG-88 was the bounty hunter.
    For the timeline, I have to agree with Favreau here, I do believe Grogu was with Luke for quite some time, because the way he was moving when in training with Luke, you don't learn to move like that in a short amount of time. Also an idicator would be Greef Karga's progress in Nevarro. To me, that level of progress just doesn't happen easily. I believe I heard in another video that on The Mandalorian they're doing what early MCU did, with the time between seasons matching the time IRL, so Mando S1 would be in 9 ABY, S2 in 10 ABY, and S3 in 13 ABY, with TBOBF in 11 or 12 ABY. Anyways, great video, nice to hear your reactions and hope you and your son enjoy the whole season, I've certainly been enjoying it a lot so far

      I can't believe I said IG-88...total Empire Strikes Back flashback. That's a dollar in the penalty jar for messing that one up. But yeah, I would love to see Cobb Vanth back. He's been great in live action so far. And I think your timeline progression makes perfect sense. I do like the idea of things moving in real time, similar to the early MCU. Great feedback as always!

    I feel like Favreau sating "now we've been apart from Grogu for 2 years", hes just saying its been 2 years irl since the end of Mandalorian season 2. Obviously we see him in Boba Fett so that throws it off, but I think since this is a panel on Mandalorian specifically, hes ignoring that and saying "For watchers of the show Mandalorian, its been 2 years since we've seen Grogu, so some stuff has changed".

    • @asteroid11
      @asteroid11 Рік тому +1

      Course it is just worded very weird, so he could very well be saying that took place over a couple of years, which the affluence of the town WOULD suggest. I'm happy either way, but I would think we don't need to take that as a specific timeline.

    Great start to the season! I heard some exciting stuff about episode 2 (but no spoilers!). I think the Star Wars Timeline is pretty solid compared ot the MCU. For example, even if Jon Favreau said it has been multiple years, there is no indicator in the show that is the acutal time that has passed. But, I can see the Mando timeline being about 4 years, similar to the actual time that has passed between seasons.

      Yes, I thought it was a fantastic start to the season and I've also heard Ep 2 is pretty amazing. I also tend to agree with you that Favreau seemed to imply something in the range of 4 years between S1 and S3. I've made it two for now, but will keep watch on what others are saying and may move it to 4 before long. Great feedback as always!

    Hi I want to ask you some question related to mcu. The question is that item 47 is canon to mcu any more or not? Why didn't AIM choose wanda and pietro as their test subject for their extremis project ? What would have happen if Aim was still opreating in avengers age of ultron?

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому +1

      Item 47 is in the D+ timeline, so I assume it's canon. As for AIM, I assume they were unaware of Wanda and Pietro. I don't know what would happen if AIM was still around during Age of Ultron. What do you think?

    • @aminaabdulaziz8452
      @aminaabdulaziz8452 Рік тому +2

      If Aim was in age of ultron they would have given ultron extremis to upgrade his sentries and upgrade scarlet witch and quicksilver powers with extremis and thus would have given them regeneration and fire breath abilities. Will lizzy Caplan Will appear in upcoming marvel projects?

    A lot of the writing in this episode was sloppy but it was a really fun episode. However; what worries me is that Favreau said that they have no real end plan for c the series. We'll see though.

      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому

      Good feedback! I agree, the writing was just okay but the action was great and the story moved along at a nice pace. And you raise a valid concern that Favreau didn't seem to have an overall plan for the series, but I guess as long as he keeps it entertaining, then I'm along for the ride. Will be nice to see some resolution to the Mandalore situation and the Dark Saber. I suspect that's where we're headed for this season. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Yet another one of my Star Wars opinions! Yesterday I tried to watched Obi Wan Kenobi after I finished The Gifted (I watched it in 2 days), I stopped watching it after 10 minutes…

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, I wasn't real happy with Obi Wan, overall. It had some good scenes, but it would have been alot better as a movie with a 2 hour length rather than being drawn out into 6 episodes. It was treading water at several points to find enough story to make it thru all the episodes. I would recommend watching the last episode, if nothing else, as it is really good and very heartbreaking. Oh, and glad you liked Gifted. It was a fun series and would have been interesting to see where things went next if it had another season. Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

    Everything is really nebulous. They never wanted to be too specific on the events. There are sources that say things start in 9ABY, but that's really more of less just reference material from Star Wars Insider, it could even be earlier. Jon and Dave don't want to box themselves into a specific timeline until they've wrapped this whole Mandalorian saga with Mando, Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, and whoever/whatever else gets a spinoff, and then it will be others' jobs to cement it in place on the timeline. In theory the epilogue to Rebels hasn't even happened yet in regards to the Mandalorian stuff, that will be in Ahsoka because people saw the scene with Ahsoka meeting Sabine at the mural recreated in live action at Star Wars Celebration 2022, and I've always been under the assumption that after the Empire is defeated in 5 ABY, then Ahsoka shows up (presumably time displaced from the World Between Worlds) and the adventure to find Ezra begins. Maybe that is the case and Ahsoka's going to cover a larger period of time, we still don't know what's going on with it, but I get the feeling that everyone working on these shows are more or less just running with, It's after the Empire is defeated and that's all that really matters to them. Having Boba escape the Sarlacc an hour or two after the Sail Barge blows up, be a slave for a year or two, being a member of the Tusken Tribe for a month or two, and then wandering the desert for another year or two (or whatever combination of those three events you prefer) feels like too long for all the flashbacks in Book of Boba Fett, so I get the sense that even though initially the Mandalorian was supposedly going to be around 10 years after the Empire fell (again, it was never too specific, Star Wars Insider was the first real dating of the era), it will eventually inch up closer and closer to only a year or two after the fall of the Empire.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  Рік тому +1

      Yes, you raise a great point about perhaps Mando S1 moving to an earlier start date. That would solve alot of the problem with Book of Boba Fett needing to be closer to Return of the Jedi's ending. I like that solution alot. I guess we just wait for some more definitive answers to come, but I think your logic makes a ton of sense! Thanks so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!
