The canadian team was actually Pentatonix, arguably the most popular acapella group in the world rn. And i believe the reason why acapella had a resurgence in popularity. There's a lot of really good acapella groups out there, and they do have awesome competitions as well. But to me, Pentatonix will forever be an icon in the acapella world

I am sure someone already mentioned it, but the Greenbay Packers are the actual Packers players. They were huge fans of the first movie and asked to be in the second one.
And put in the work as well. They were told that if they wanted to be in it they couldn't just be a throw away cameo but actually had to perform well. They all showed up for lessons and shocked the rest of the cast with how good they did.

DSM is entertaining and fun antagonists plus they sing well but i would find it cooler if they mixed their language and English. Yes it's impressive that they can sing in another language but only in english is dissapointing. Also, if they choose a german song and mixed their language with english, it would be awesome 😀

As a german I am very offened by the incorrect grammer. It would either be "Soundmachine" or "Die Soundmachine" but "das Soundmachine" makes my war bleed everytime.
The German caught me off guard but was honestly pretty good haha

Listen, as long as guys like me watch Commando, Transformers, and every other silly, over the top guy movie, you don’t need to apologize for a silly chick flick. At least this isn’t 50 Shades, Twilight or Mama Mia. It’s not Romancing The Stone, My Girl or Alien, but I don’t think it’s embarrassing to women, like the ones I mentioned. We have Deuce Bigalow and the 13 year old boy in me loves that. This is nothing.

Originally, the song that Das Sound Machine sang at the car show was meant to be their finale song... but the directors realised that it was TOO good to be legitimately beaten by the Bellas and so they changed it to be their intro, otherwise no one would've believed that the Bellas actually won.
Hailee's mom is played by Katey Sagal who is actually an amazing singer. She has a few albums of her own and has been a backup singer for different artists since the 70s. She's also a prolific actress including Married With Children in the 90s, Futurama as the voice of Leela, and Sons of Anarchy.

Nah flashlight was def better, especially with the crowd engagement, won hands down.
From what we’ve already seen from DSM before, their final performance was pretty underwhelming imo

The third movie's fun, has a different vibe but lots of catchy songs.
There's also a series about Bumper called "Bumper in Berlin" . It's actually pretty amusing & lots of character growth in it too.

"I Dated John Mayer" is the topic that you have to sing songs by the people that dated him (John Mayer is a american singer, maybe you reconize his song Your Body Is a Wonderland). Das Song Machine sang A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton and the Bellas sang We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift, and both singers dated John. But Bumper sang What's Love Got to Do with It by Tina Turner, who obviously didnt date John, thats why people were booing them
But he did leave the first movie to be John Mayer's backup singer, so he's insinuating he knew something they didn't 😂

I recently rewatched these with my husband, and of course I knew the first movie by heart, but 2 and 3 jumped the shark. It was like they just decided to be as ridiculous as possible, but... they're still worth a watch. lol

the end credit scene with Bumper performing on The Voice USA, is a bit of an inside joke. The actor playing Bumper is called Adam Devine, who is often getting mixed up with Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 and the judge that didn't turn around for Bumper.
We didn't actually see the Bellas win in the first film. They sang and then it cut to them with the trophy at the auditions for next year. Very similar to cutting to the trophy here

The story was kinda all over the place imo but the music was decent. And Fat Amy was slaying as always. 🥰
Dave and Buster’s an extremely fun and big arcade all over America with great food, bowling alley, a bar, and a restaurant inside the arcade.
You should react to music, too. Pentatonix (who feature as team Canada, in this movie, briefly) are one of the most successful acapella groups and are amazing.

Yea i really enjoyed her character, she was a fun addition. But at the same time the movie started with a big time jump + the cast changed without a real introduction. But yea you just have to go with it instead of being “idk you, i don’t like you” 😂

Love these movies (the first two at least). This one is just as funny as the first, has even better music, and makes some great additions to the cast (especially Hailee Steinfeld).

You are right. There is a good chance you have heard Hailee Steinfeld sing before. I can't remember when it started but I'm like 99% sure she was a singer before she took on acting. She is a very good singer with songs like "Starving", "Back To Life", "Most Girls", "Love Myself", etc.

I had no idea Hailee Steinfeld was in this movie, I just liked the Pitch Perfect movies as a young teen because I was a shy choir kid and had dreams lol. But now that I'm a huge fan of Arcane, all I hear when she speaks is Vi talking, and then when she sings all I hear is Vi singing with some really sweet pipes! (Half-expected her to say "cupcake" somewhere lollll)
