@@mymechanicsinsights I’m hugely impressed with your wonderful work. But how come you already have so many ready made jigs for making all these nice new parts???
I love your content so much. I can't watch any other restoration channels because their lack of craftsmanship for both the restoration process and the cinematography are so far behind your levels of quality. Your videos are so pristine and pleasing to all the human senses, it's like a drug: I can't get my fix anywhere else
I have come to the conclusion that MM selects restoration projects based on the parts he'll need to make. He knows we, the viewers, like seeing him make the parts, and he enjoys making them, so it's a win-win. Plus, he gets clips for his compilation videos... Win-win-win. Thanks, MM!
Just a world-class machinist. Can make anything. And make it better than new. When the world ends, he can make a new one. Andnitnwill be a better world. All sharp edges smoothed out. All sharp corners radiused and holes are all chamfered.
Thank you so much for making these videos of parts you make so we can have something in between the full build videos. I watch your videos with my 4 young children and they love it when you have to make a new part. We love how you take old "useless" junk and turn it into something beautiful and new (and also shiny). They are always so excited when I tell them there is a new "tool video" and they leave their play to come watch your magic. Thank you for the wholesome, inspiring videos you provide.
I watched all these restorations atleast 2 or 3 times , still feel like watching them again n again, great Sir, you are a magician, hoping to see more n more restorations.
Как всегда все крайне аккуратно, красиво, и блестяще выполнено. Таким мастерам надо на космическую промышленность работать. Смотреть на Вашу работу - искреннее удовольствие! Да хранит Вас Господь! ❤
Comment to bump the algorithm. Your attention to the tiniest detail, your precision & accuracy is amazing. Your tools, equipment & workspace leaves me green with envy. It's no wonder that you're the best restorer on UA-cam. You've earned that moniker with hard work. Kudos.
The passion this man has for his craft is unbelievable. I would absolutely love to see him restoring a bayonet or something similar. People put so many videos of this online, particularly of the German Kar98 k bayonets, I think mymechanics should show them how it is done 😂
7:01 how you even make the clearance away from your thumb to scribe a perfect line…!🤣🙏🏻❤️ I think what I like the most about your restorations is that you make everything and turn something as simple as a lamp or a doorbell into a masterpiece!! Ps. Sometimes making the fixtures can be more fun than the piece we’re working on. You have a great channel,Sir!! 💪🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏻❤️🙏🏻
..WOW. Even making replacement banana plugs...Just WOW. Very impressive dedication. Turning new coil formers rather than 3D printing replacements is again, WOW 👍 Cheers Pete' New Zealand.
I never cease to be amazed - 😮 - by the talent of such craftsmen. And I love how the fans go nuts every time he writes "I make a new one. The fun never stops.
I make a new one! Thats always my favorite thing to see on your main channel. I also love how when you need a tool, to help you make a thing, and you dont already have that tool, you use the tools you do have, to make the tool you need, to use with the other tools you need, to make the thing you need. Im not sure if that's what that was, at 4:13 (the coil winding attachment), but it looked like it might have been. I know ive seen you do it before though, with other things.
i have enjoyed your videos of restoration on a variety of things. i was researching wood planes and found this. very nice work. i also was glad to see the Aciera mill, old style. i just acquired an F3. perfect mill for this type of work. thanks again!
I like the way that all the dedicated jigs and attachments that are needed to do a particular job are at hand. They also take hours of time and skill to make in the first place.
Every single time "i made a new one" I knew he's gonna make it darn good. I've saw a lot of restorations on UA-cam, but "i made new one" is easily the best one in making ... A NEW ONE. From the material he choose, the technique, and the polishing, all seemingly perfect (or even better) than original. I even had suspicion that the mechanic behind it have perfectionist syndrome (don't get me wrong, it's complimentary :D )
Ah! Now I feel better! I've had my therapy for the next month! This workmanship is so good even the JSK-koubou channel is a fan. Alles Guete uus Fricktal. Rob in Switzerland
I want you to know that you’ve inspired me. I purchased a lathe about a month ago. I’ve been fiddling around with it for about 4-6 hours every day at least. I’ll post a video of me making something once I figure out how to turn it on.
He employs the finest tools, materials, while maintaining the highest standards when restoring items from mundane to rare treasures. When he completes a project it’s value surely exceeds its original cost, quality and visual appeal. I’m hoping for more of the same, trusting I will continue to be amazed by his beautiful workmanship. Un maître sans égal!
I will never ever get tired of "I Make A New One"!🤗Thanks, MM for this lovely little compilation. It put a huge grin on my face.😁
Thank you very much Vickie, as always.
My sentiments exactly!
@@daviddickmeyer5231and mine ☺💫
Agree ... I often think how the hell you gonna make new one of that ... then he does it

There's 1 other great one, he's from Ukraine but I can't remember the name of the channel right now 😅
I feel you 😂 After knowing his channel literally every other restoration video on UA-cam seems like it's been done by a bloody amateur
Ive tried some of those cheap copycat channels rather than go cold Turkey! The comedown the next day though bro! Hideous flashbacks and terrible wind.
If I ever need to explain to someone what perfectionism is, I will show your videos.

Watched them all and you did a wonderful job on all of them!!!
"I make a new one" is my favourite part of your videos!
I've seen all of these in their respective videos, but your care and attention to detail is always a joy to watch.

'I make a new one' must be one of the most iconic phrases on UA-cam. It never gets old. I always look forward to it.
I watched all five of the full videos and it was nice re-watching these shorts 😎👍

Thank you for showing your children that working with your hands is wonderful work.💕
Absolutely entertaining. This guy is a wizard. I never tire of seeing his videos. Amazing.
I became addicted to watching you work at the beginning of the pandemic!! So excellent just watching the work happening!! A true artist.
I'm a new subscriber, congratulations for your obsessive reconstruction of details 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍❤️
I'm having a bad day.... my mechanics comes along and makes a new one. Thank you! \o/

Thanks MM from middle East, your videos is peace of mind and calmness
Nothing like a compilation of my mechanics making a new one! I'm always stunned by the quality of your work.
Copper and copper art are equally attractive and beautiful ⚒️👌
Truly admire your knowledge and ability to do these projects, a pleasure to watch. Can’t forget about your camera work too, so good.
I've seen it all several times before, but this summary is also great. With kind regards from Germany.
All your Restorations are Artistic Masterpices.

What a perfect way to start a long day for me and keep it all in perspective and doing it right. Thank You MM, you made my day!!
Ну красавчик, и всё тут!!! Я по мебели из ДСП и МДФ работаю, а этот канал смотрю, не отрываясь! С чего бы? ;)
I live in Japan and enjoy various DIY projects, but your crafts are amazing. I'd love to learn.
I don't know if I should be jealous of your talent or admiring...

You, sir, are not a mechanic, you are an artist! You continue to amaze and impress with you machining skill.
thanks again, makes for a nice evening to watch your videos. Lights, action, cameras, edit, timing, filmography, focus, wow!
I am always impressed with your dedication to recreating all the badging as accurately as possible.
This stuff blows my mind, sheer amount of what looks like one time fixtures and tools just to produce one part is astounding.
Always impressed with your engineering skills when making jigs and tools to address restoration issues. Well done Sir 👏
Always awesome, amazing and fantastic on Making New Ones. Together excellent expertise and tools could only finish like this.
The amazing quality of these restorations never ceases to shock me
This one was especially enjoyable because of all the "new ones". When you publish a new video I keep it as a special treat for the weekend. Thank you!
Always awe inspiring when I watch your work.
What i like about you is your tools and precision just perfect work and fit very satisfying great job your are really my mechanic cant ask for better

Oh, COOL !!! The very best parts of your videos. Awesome. Thanks!
I've watched each of those restorations when originally posted, but I still thoroughly enjoyed seeing them made anew once more. Thank you.
Having lunch and relaxing. Impressive when you restore the electrical components. Always waiting for new videos. Congratulations!!🇧🇷
Oh so satisfying. Thank you!

Another great video. I like how this montage focused on my favorite aspect of your excellent restorations, the making of replacement parts.
Great work excellent videography
Metal, plastic, wood even fiber you can do it all, you can make a new anything, it's just so good.
Incredible restoration👍👍👍 every time I see that and get full joy😊
It's very clever of you to twist and solder the wires. That way they will not corrode and break contact.
My favorite part is when he made a new one 👌
Your skill for restore anything is impressive!!!
Thanks for sharing the videos!!
I make a new comment too 😁 Well done sir, always a pleasure to watch your precision in work 👌

So incredible impressed by your work🤩👏🏻
A true craftsman. Such a fascinating channel, without speaking a word too.. love it. 🍻👍👍
Really making me consider the ship of Theseus with a few of these restorations.
You've got an impressive collection of machines/tools. Especially the engraver.
The finesse of holding the wire tensioner while winding that bobbin 😳
