Bruh, I paused at the 0:11 mark, with my eyes stinging like I'm about to cry, thinking, "NOPE... Nope, not watching this without my husband as my support animal" 😁😂🙃🙈💯
I read the book, one of my all time favorite books! It is only sad a few times, but mostly happy, funny and uplifting!. A really beautiful love story between a man and a animal.
One of the best story I felt in the recent times. I have always wondered about a story where the homeless veteran dog was take away from him, only the veteran and dog can feel the bond and loss of that relationship. I live in Austin and homeless people would be having their pets and both feel contented and happy living on the pavement. This story reminds me of those thoughts, yes its free country. God bless USA
Looking forward to seeing it. Nick Hamm is a very good director - and he brought together a top-notch cast for the film. Hoping they stick very close to the true story..
I will be watching this because I LOVE monkeys. and 2-Capuchin monkeys are legal in a LOT of states. They could have just moved if it was that important. I know I would have!
My mom was paralyzed 20 years ago this week. I knew about service monkeys at the time and advocated for one, even if all it did was help pull her blanket up and down, a request she made uncountable times a day as her body no longer regulated temperature. I wanted her to have a Blanket Monkey to give my dad and her caregivers freedom, to give her back some control over life she had lost as a quad at the age of 71. People laughed at me. Don’t laugh, give them all the tools you can possibly find, their lives will be so much richer and happier. We never got the monkey, but my sister and I still talk about it.
Saw the movie it’s amazing. This is the current film that makes you hate Karens and all vegan extremist so much. I’m not joking this movie touched my heart so much that these vegan extremist just want this kid to be miserable it’s so disgusting. But then again I know these activist have no happiness in the life I guess happiness is murder in their eyes.
Whoever makes the decisions these days to give the entire story away in trailers needs to be put to sleep. I don't need the whole synopsis to decide whether I wanna see the movie. I just need a 25 second trailer. Jesus fucking Christ.
While this movie seems inspiring and a strong emotional journey it’s also bad timing as monkeys are in headlines everywhere attacking people and stealing and killing infants. I hope people are responsible enough to understand that a monkey is not normally a suitable pet. They are not domesticated animals.
Boo hoo. It's the whole dog breed story again. "Oh pitbulls are bad breeds, all born vicious" yeah tell that to my one who is afraid of a fly lmao. With many animals, it depends on how they are raised. We see videos of tigers cuddling their care givers and we don't bat an eye. Why? Because this animal is different from the other ones.
Just saw the trailer for the first time. Thought it was gonna be a remake of Romero's 'Monkey Shines'. - but it was even worse. A "feel good" story about domesticating wild animals to use as free labor.
PETA would probably hate this movie as it is removing the monkey from its natural habitat so that it can be used basically as a companion/helper for the Paraplegic man, the movie portrays the man and monkey as having a closeness, but the monkey in real life probably wouldn't do anything helpful, or act civilly, maybe even be violent.
I am so not watching this. It will break my heart, I can feel it!!! I am crying already ;(
Go and watch _'Marley and Me'_ . It'll cheer you up.
Gosh same here. I’m crying too.
@@MazBringsby I’m sure you’re lying I cried hard after watching that as a kid
Me too! I have a Giji too! In the form of a shih tzu named Molly!❤God is so GOD!!!🙂🙂🙂😃😃👍👍
100% looks like a movie to watch when you need a good cry!
When the monkey gave back the ball and put her head on his shoulder...
My emotions. MY EMOTIONS!!!

Zoe Colleti is literally everywhere. I feel like there is a reason, something sketch. Why is she suddenly in everything all of a sudden?
I thought this was Monkey Shines remake
Marcel!!!!
Sorry about the spoiler alert about the happy ending but I'm guessing there's a lot of us that would not want to watch a sad story

So, Monkeyshines *without* the murder? 🐒
So they've remade monkey shines?

Isn't that the same monkey as the one in the movie Outbreak? I'm sick of pandemics...
Make sure to have all your shots a see the movie.
🙏
No thanks, I’d rather watch Monkey Shines.

TOO MUCH CGI MONKEY SHOTS...JUST USE AN ACTUAL CAPUCHIN THAT'S TRAINED
If Ross Geller had a disability.
finally a movie about caged animal never cage animals may he be set free in the wild instead of that villian in the wheelchair 😡
No. You don't get to just keep an exotic wild animal because you are disabled. This is disgusting and infuriating. Get a dog. This is sick
Nah. Because some people have capuchin monkeys as pets but they aren't just pets, they are friends, family, support etc
I’m criying
But why you américains always try to fight what is good.
Too many lawyers
To many idiots can't enjoy stuff
this is so selfish, tear an animal from its mother and its natural habitat for your selfish amusement and then try to package it as a feel-good story.
100% agree
The boy has no right for caging the monkey just coz he can't walk
