it would be interesting if the Japanese govt has some kind of program that preserves aspects of their culture and history. in Korea, the govt has a program that lists important cultural and historical aspects as 'national treasures' and as such they would assign someone to learn and eventually retain that skill for future gens

tis true, perhaps ninjutsu is already recorded in some archive out there in japan. It does look like a lethal practice and in being so probably isn't widely accessible to the public, rightfully so. From what i've seen the whole shtic of ninjutsu is to be stealthy, deadly, and highly versatile.

After classic Japanese animes and the wonder of karaoke, ninjas are one of the special things which made my fascination with Japan grow very deep so much so that Japanese is the next foreign language I endeavoured to master after English. Used to pretend-play I was a ninja as a child even if I was a girl. Anyway, thanks a ton for this highly interesting feature. The breathing tips will be specially helpful in lowering people's anxiety during these extraordinary times.

That's the tragedy of all martial arts, I think. Every generation something is lost, but as long as new practitioners are diligent, new developments can be made while preserving traditions.

What he explained with the breathing is one of many forms of meditation. There's more advanced ones that start from what he explained there, such as Tumo meditation, but that is too advanced to be attempted on your own, you would need someone to teach you that.
yes, these all techniques boil down to the yoga practises, but in different forms
There's no need to learn Tumo meditation anymore since you can achieve the same results with Wim Hof Breathing and much faster.
