The Sri Sri Ravishankar Bal Mandir Annual Day was a spectacular event, where the young students from the foundational group came together to showcase their creativity and talent. This year's theme centred on the epic Ramayana, the divine tale of Lord Rama that captivated hearts for ages and generations.
The program commenced with an invocation prayer, followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Smt. Naganandini ji (senior AOL faculty), our Principal, Smt. Mamatha Raviprakash, and the coordinators. The school's Annual Report was then presented, followed by the felicitation of the senior faculties who have served the institution tirelessly with great dedication and commitment for over ten and twenty years. The honourable Chief Guest and our Principal also addressed the gathering through their inspiring words.
Finally, the much awaited cultural program 'Raja Rama" began with an exhilarating dance drama by the play group and the pre-primary students.
The stage was transformed into a vibrant platform to depict the world of Ramayana. The students presented the Bala Kanda, Ayodhya Kanda, Aranya Kanda, Kishkinda Kanda and Yuddha Kanda of the Ramayana through a fine blend of dance, drama, and music. The students who were dressed as Lord Rama, Sita mata, Hanuman, Ravana and other main characters, brought the story to life through their adorable yet earnest performances. And a special mention has to be made of the little anchors who flawlessly brought the entire event together.
Each dance sequence beautifully conveyed the emotions and pivotal moments from Ramayana, leaving the audience spellbound. The musical interludes added a magical touch to the event and performances added depth and soul to the overall presentation.
The audience was mesmerized as the young talents flawlessly portrayed the epic's key events. The teary-eyed parents were overwhelmed to witness as the Ramayana unfolded on stage through the heartfelt performances of the tiny talents. Towards the end, the programme concluded with a surprise dance performance dedicated to Sri Rama by the teachers of the foundation group.
The Annual Day celebration was indeed a resounding success. It not only entertained but also instilled in the young minds the values and virtues embodied in the epic. The event was a testament to the dedication of both students and teachers, fostering a love for culture and tradition in our school.
