I love it. Same intake going on a Nissan 280zx. I have that Webber on my Nissan truck. The Rochester 2 BBL is another good one to consider. Easy parts availability. I always had trouble with the choke on my Nissan truck. I have gotten years of service out of it. I'm sure it can be tuned out. I just never did it. I like the blue. Great job.
I just caught you for the first time so did not see the previous posts. Would you mind telling me about the cam and head work you did as I am using a 230 in a 1931 sedan chassis, and want some further power for the highway….
How’s it going Dave. This engine had a mild head job. It got resurfaced to ensure flat mating area when installing a new head gasket. Nothing major to be affecting compression. New hardened seats were installed and new seals. Everything else was left stock. The Cam I got was a 208 grind cam. I just wanted something mild but to have more power than stock. Delta Cam from Tacoma, WA. Was the supplier for my Camshaft, lifters, and timing gears. They will custom grind you what you want or need. Very reasonable price. Unfortunately I need to replace the head or get it welded. It has a crack at the rear head bolt area which hits the water jacket. That’s something the particular machine shop didn’t catch. I’m currently running a V8 but still have my six on the side for the next van.
@@66BeachCruiser exactly what I hoped. I want a cruiser that will do highway speeds when necessary. I will call your cam guys for sure. Thanks very much.
@@chrisshepherd1566 ended up putting this carb on my Nova and the line goes to the connection with the little rubber cap when you get it. I have a video on my channel that’s pretty rough but basically goes over the generals of my installation.
Sounds great! Lot of custom works there, looks great, too!
