Cadillac Lyriq screen too dim FIX

So there are three problems actually:
1. The screen dims too early in the day making the screen very difficult to see, and there's no way to manually increase the brightness when this happens.
2. Also, I think the real-time response time of the screen dimming is too aggressive - what I mean is like when you go under a bridge or into a tunnel, the screen dims almost immediately rather than waiting for a bit to see if the change in lightning conditions was momentary or permanent.
3. The final issue is what I mentioned initially - I feel like the dimmed brightness at night time is too dim. Even in pitch black darkness, I think the screen can be a bit brighter for better visibility. Ideally, there should simply be a way for us to change the brightness manually and bypass the auto-dimmed brightness levels.
The dimmer wheel on the left side of the steering wheel does NOT work to increase the brightness beyond the auto-dimmed level once it kicks in - it only works to decrease the brightness even more. I'm 99% sure of this as I've tried it, but please do correct me if I'm wrong.
