Hey man: Thanks so much for putting this together. I was outside, trying to put the stupid stand on the bike, completely frustrated and ready to send it back to Triumph. Finding your video was a joy! A picture's worth a thousand cuss words.
Just want to say thanks for your video it sure made the job easier!. I just installed mine on my 2013 XC. Some changes to note for others. First the kit number is now A9778015 second the bolt for the S thing for the spring is no longer a torx but is a 8mm hex, and you will now find in the kit a new bracket for the evap canister and a hose routing bracket which you don't need.
Thanks for posting, great help in fitting mine today. Because I have crash bars on to fit the S bracket I found it easier to remove the rear brake actuator for access.
Thanks! It was sort of an impromptu idea, I searched UA-cam looking for tips before starting on this job and couldn't find any, so I decided to record my own experience with it. I hope you found it somewhat informative! Regarding other videos, it's possible that as I go along with the maintenance & mods of my Tiger 800XC, I'll record & post those item, too.
Thanks to this video I did the job myself and saved some bucks. I'm not too handy, so it still took a while, but I felt like a man for a couple hours there. Thanks!
Thanks for the comments, everyone. I hope this continues to help those with a little mechanical apprehension tackle this job, and clarifies it for those who don't.
Great video! Thank you so much. That T-30 for the s-bracket. The triumph engineer that decided on the Torx-head should be taken out back and beaten. A standard hex head would be low hanging fruit. Easy by comparison. Gah. I need to revisit it tomorrow after drinking tonight to erase the pain.
Thanks for putting this together!! Any chance of you continuing in a series on other topics like changing a tire. Changing the breaks, oil, and other basic maintenance etc?
Thanks for the critique on a free video made to help others. It's a damn shame precious minutes of your time were wasted. Is there anything we can do to make it up to you?

I got this kit in Australia. It had no instructions. Now I'm ready to tackle it. Thanks for sharing.

Putting my stand on this week. I'll have my laptop right next to the bike, so I can use this video. Thanks!
Great video, thanks so much!

Thanks for the helpful video. Just installed factory Triumph Center Stand on my 2016 Tiger XC. Pretty much exactly the same as yours.
The instructions weren't bad, but it was very helpful to see this video. Applies equally to the 2016 800XR model.
Nice video. This was a big help on my install. Especially regarding the s bracket....couldn't find the mount based on the instructions.
Great video thanks for sharing I have the stand waiting to be fitted in the garage, I now have a better idea of what I am doing
Great video! Thank you so much.

Good video
GOOD JOB MAN
You're welcome! Glad that it helped out!
Cheers for the great video...Got a haynes manual for mine and can`t find anything about this...Going to buy the spring tool too...

I bought part # a9778005 for my 2013 Triumph Tiger 800xc. Did I buy the wrong part for my year?
Does anyone know the difference between tiger 800 and tiger 800 xc center stands?
I think height is the only difference.
This video is way too long. I would suggest that if you do any more in the future keep them shorter. 10 minutes tops. Don't ramble.
