This sort of show was very popular in the mid 60s, both on radio and TV. I remember on Radio (Light programme) there was a series called "The Lid's Off Libby" with Libby Morris, where she was joined by Bill Wallis and Gordon Clyde in sketches and sang with the Ronnie Price Quartet. Sadly only 13 shows were made, and I doubt any of them exist now. It was just pre Radio 2 so must have been 1967
You didn’t even watch two minutes of the clip before you posted that comment, did you? This looks nothing at all like TW3, except for Millie’s face on screen at the very beginning. 😂
Whether it was called Millicent, Mainly Millicent or The Millicent Martin Show, I don't know. But there was another episode of her in a B/W comedy show, which has now disappeared. Any chance of putting it back , or any other episodes? Not more TW3 though please. These days I get a little sick or her preaching at me on that show, especially about the unlovely Kennedy. Wasn't he the Kennedy who got so irritable that he might start WW3 if he did not get laid by a prostitute every night and nearly did start WW3 over Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba, when America already had nuclear missiles in Germany. Yes, that's the right Kennedy.
Keep your own political rants to yourself instead of spewing them out here, please. It was a political satire program, remember? Are you even aware of the live tribute show TW3 did only a day after Kennedy was killed? It was a legendary broadcast.
I did not ask for your opinion. I did not ask for your correction. I merely ask that next time you wish to correct someone in order to boost your self esteem. You keep your opinion to yourself.
Yes, okay, but the "Get your titles right" thing was a bit harsh. We can all be mistaken, so next time perhaps a little more humility is needed. How about "I think your title may be wrong", then no one is offended. After all, what matters is the footage, not the title. @@benjaminclasper9355

I was 12 when this aired. I remember Millicent and Libby Morris, whom I found really funny. Nice to know these memories are shared.
I was just curious that’s all.
Oh no I was wrong it is a different show
I’m so dam confused.

The name of the show isn’t the “Millicent martin show” it’s “that was the week that was” get your titles right.

This clip IS from the Millicent Martin Show, NOT "That Was the Week That Was."
