Came here from binging Frasier! So crazy to see Mrs Moon on stage, she’s so talented 💖 Reminds me of my late Nana, who also had a wonderful singing voice!
I saw this lovely lady perform this number several times in Side By Side By Sondheim in London in the 70's and though the voice is a little weaker with maturity she has lost none of her sparkle. Wonderful. Thank you so much for taking the trouble in uploading all these fantastic gems.
I saw the same when I was 20…after having seen Jean Simmons and Josh Auckland in A Little Night Music. These experiences changed my life, for without them, I’d not have understood Sondheim as I now have for the past nearly 50 years. She is magnificent.
When I was a child I bought during a trip in London Side by Side by Sondheim in vinyl. When I arrived home in Spain and listened the record this song really took me!!!! I was singin it every day!!!! Of course when I grew up I bought that record in CD
One of my favorite Stephen Sondheim songs! Amazing that it came from a non- musical movie, “The Seven-Percent Solution,“ with Nigel Williamson, and Alan Arkin as Sherlock Holmes and Sigman Freud.
Fun fact! Even though it was indeed written for the movie it was actually first heard in Side by Side by Sondheim which premiered several months before the movie.
Utterly charming and unique! Fell in love with Ms Martin all thgose years ago watching TW3. One of the greats of musical theater history, and still going strong. I'm still enchanted.
A great Sondheim song cut from the film The Ten Percent Solution - originally sung by Regine. It's deliciously witty and I love Millicent Martin - but she doesn't quite get it right. When you see the film you can see where it originally went, but it seemed an odd thing to insert into a film about Sherlock Holmes.
This is a brilliant interpretation of what I believe is one of Sondheim's best and naughtiest lyrics.
This is quite an eye opener for those of us who know her only as Daphne's Mum. Figures she's musical, with that cast.
A true star

she's amazing! what a gem! It is so incredible to have the chance to meet her work now in Grace and Frankie. Fascinated by her!
I was happy seeing her on Grace and Frankie still going strong 💪 From Getrude Moon to Joan-Margaret.

Извините, а в чём смысл её песни? Просто ощущение, что тут есть сексуальный контекст...
I have adored her since the Sixties.

Amen!!!
😎😎😎
what a loss that America never got to know her well.
Does it get any better than Millicent Martin?

Was this really used in the movie? Seems too long for a non-musical film
Just a small portion was used.
