As a non-American, this election scares me more than any election in my home country of South Africa (and we had our most corrupt president, Jacob Zuma, come back to haunt us in our last election two months ago).
Like it or not, the US sets the standard that smaller, less influential countries aspire to. Unlike any other, this is, hands down, the most important election in history, not only for the US, but for the entire planet. The only problem is that the rest of the world doesn't get a vote.
So, please America, don't f*** it up. We are counting on you. Biden may not be your ideal candidate, but the alternative is much, much worse. In South Africa, we don't vote for a person, we vote for a party. So, do that. For once, put personalities aside and vote for a party. Vote Blue, up and down the ballot, regardless of who is at the top of the ticket.

Psaki is right. Indeed, overdoing prep can be a very bad thing. This is true for a college student in their prime preparing for a debate or presentation, or someone 80+ years of age. Now when you add to that the reality of facing off in a debate against an opponent who will gish gallop or firehose you, the overprepping can have even more disastrous consequences. That debate was more of a tactical failure than a cognitive one.

I say this as a long time ago college graduate, May 1982. Unless Donald Trump is playing games with his base and certainly Democrats, projecting himself as an ignorant, witless man who lies with every breath he takes. His father put him in military school while he was still young because of his rebellious nature, I grew up going to elementary schools in the 1960s. I was taught that NATO existed and began after WW2 as a defensive alliance and hedge against the then USSR. I'm very very sure Trump learned about NATO while being taught in ROTC. As a matter of history. Unless Donald continued his rebellious ways while in military school, possibly tuning out the military instructors. I do not believe his lying mouth every time he spouts out a lying sentence. He knows about NATO, he knows about the Heritage Foundation, he knows about Project 2025, no matter how many times he tries to wiggle out of knowledge about what the Project contains, which is truly the disassemblage of Democracy via destroying Government.
My bet is that trump still doesn't know anything about NATO.
Usually when Biden gets a name wrong, he corrects himself... when Trump makes a mistake he seems to have no clue at the time and corrects himself at a later date by doubling down on the mistake.
