You make annotating poems look so easy
Absolute legend great video well edited with no bs straight to the point in a clean format

you are a life saver
You're welcome 😊
Thank you - never been taught this and my mock is tomorrow. To be clear within the paragraphs can you just do language like you did as i was told on focus on structure too.
sameee
lmaoo samee
@@sinceresyntyche4102 I just did my mock and i got 22/24 on the first question im so happy
Hey, is there a way you can write a PEEL paragraph but highlight where exactly the 4 points are being used as i find it hard to decipher it. Thankyou
Thank u❤
You're welcome 😊
Your Peels are basically like Prtezel paragraphs right?
on the paragraphs do you not need to add the effect on the reader
i noticed that you didnt add any structural techniques in your model answer for the 24 marker- would you still be award marks for not including that
Could you next time explain why the methods show certain ideas? Such as the sibilance one
i would it shows how deep you are thinking
@@chloek322 Wait wdym? As in the sibilance emphasises the effect of London being unwelcoming?
It depends for example sibilants in kamikaze “shoals of fishes” shows a soothing almost tranquil ambience of nature. This may have been the pilot’s reason to retreat. However siblance in Charge of light brigade i think it’s “shot and shell’d” has a more violent nature, having firing sounds and being unsettling and foreshadowing of that deaths. But seeing how your comment was 11 months ago I am assuming you’ve already done your GCSE’s , mine in the other hand is tmr 😂
So we dont need impact on reader for the 24 marker?
Is it fine if you don't talk much about structure? Like enjambment, caesura, volta, rhyme scheme. In your answers you seemed to focus more on Language but too get full marks dont you have to include Structure as well? I find it difficult to use Structure in my answers anyway but considering its poetry surely you would have to mention about it no?
For a Level 6 response, you have to add form and structure
was the title supposed to say 2023
The left-handed writing just makes it hard to focus for me for some reason 😅
Do we get given what play we are going to wite about in English example Christmas Carol, Macbeth or Mr Berling
pardon?
what about an introduction? ive been told i need to write one of those before starting on the petred paragraph
Intros are good but just don't write a generic one - have a strong thesis statement.
I've been taught to write a thesis statement and conclusion for the 24 mark question. Is this not necessary?
A thesis statement is a great add on for the 24 mark question BUT it is only a good add-on if you're able to also write three detailed analytical paragraphs. Add it, as well as a conclusion, if it doesn't affect your ability to also include your body paragraphs.
not linked to this but do you have Frankenstein videos?
Loads, did a plot summary plus characters as well - just search "Frankenstein first rate tutors" or "The Creature first rate tutors" and you'll find it. Start with this vid: ua-cam.com/video/U7eRkMSUvrw/v-deo.html&start_radio=1&rv=U7eRkMSUvrw&t=75
@@FirstRateTutors thanks
is this the actual 2023 paper?

Course it is
