On Oprah's show Terrence said he & siblings were playing as his dad waited in line, that the White man said are you going to let those N's in front of you, that the man much bigger than his 151 lb dad had his dad held up on the wall, his dad.was hitting the man with something in his hand, they both fell & it was a pin & the man died, that it was a bad year for a Black boy with funny colored eyes to move to the projects when his dad went to prison. This rendition is read & emphasized on here as if there is proof it is true, no other side needed & as if it is a therapist"s judgement that like father like son. I don't doubt that watching the incident & life lessons after moving to the projects & whatever else the family encountered has caused him some problems, but it does not mean that is why the man has wife is said to have inherited (nonsense) beater tendencies. I advise you to read the transcript of Oprah's show (interview) of the cast of the movie Crash. i.e. Racism in America.

The (Tone), Flavor & assumptive manner in which this narrator describes comes across as consistently assigning total blame & a negative portrayal of this incident, ( the District Attorney didn't have anything on the owner of this channel). "Talking about the prejudged left sided portrayal of Terrence Howard's father & Terrence & assignment of his dad's guilt as she attributes the guilt automatically & totally to them. It is obvious that Terrence could benefit from therapy there is no proof that his aggressive behavior Towards women stems from his dad's encounter with and resulting killing of a man whom it appears could or could not have been the instigator himself.

Terrance's Dad was attacked by the Guy. He was bleeding where the Fritzgerald Guy had kneed him in the groin area _(where he had an old work injury)_ after slamming him against the wall. The man started an altercation that led to him attacking 21yr old Tyrone Howard, over an accusation of cutting in line. This was in Front of Terrance Howard's pregnant Mom & Siblings. Both wives were expecting. The guy died later on in the Hospital from the stabbing. *_It was self-defense according to Witnesses._* That's why he did 11mos for Manslaughter.

I read a article in Essence once where Terrence said the man insulted his mom and his dad went off. They didn't tell that part.
Terrence is a creative genius. People just don't realize the depth of his knowledge. Look up some of the lighting objects he has created. He is thinking on a different dimension. An probably a little eccentric like most highly creative people. Pisces.

Here is the truth get your facts straight.................................... Tyrone was invited to appear on the program with Terrence but refused. Shortly after Terrence's account of the incident, Tyrone gave an interview to the Cleveland newspaper, The Plain Dealer, in which he claims that his son misrepresented his story and maintained that the altercation was not racially motivated.
It wasn't nothing racial that went down. It was two men standing there, both of us acting like damn fools . . . instead of one of us taking the man's role and walking away.[2][4]
According to Howard in his interview, after standing in the long line for about 30 minutes, he told his pregnant wife to take Terrence and find a place to sit down. Approximately 45 minutes later, Howard and his sons were close to the front of the line. Howard called for his wife and youngest son to join him in the line. Other people waiting in the line, including Fitzpatrick, did not realize that the woman entering the line was Howard's wife and accused him of letting her cut in. Howard cursed at Fitzpatrick and yelled "If you have anything to say to my wife, say it to me!" Fitzpatrick said "That's a cheap trick, buddy!" and at that point grabbed Howard and pinned him against the wall. After Fitzpatrick fell to the floor from the stabbing, Howard knelt down and tried to put pressure on Fitzpatrick's wounds to stop the bleeding. Some witnesses advised him to flee and he did so in fear. In the interview, Howard expressed remorse for initiating the altercation which led to Fitzpatrick's slaying.
Tyrone Howard said of his son's appearance on Oprah:
Oprah wanted a sob story, he was there with a sob story. Terrence needed publicity, and I became the meat. I was the feast that day.[2][4]
After Tyrone Howard's revelation, Terrence's account of the events was removed from the Oprah website and replaced with a different part of his interview.[6]

Some people can remember things that young. All I have to do is mention to my parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and other elderly family members things and events I remember in full details and they will tell me how old I was at that time. Thusly, I can remember as far back as one year old.

I remember Terrence Howard being on the View some years back. He told this story but it's different from the newspaper article. Something was said to his father about his mother and Terrence Howard's dad flipped out.

Why are people upset about her doing a video on Terrence Howard father...the real question is "Why did you click on it and listen?"...for me it's because it's interesting to hear about celebrities have had real life experiences...I will do some research on Terri ology (may be spelled incorrectly)
