- In this video I show you how to hook a set of three trailers in BeamNG.drive.
Important takeaways:
~Make sure your trailer has a pintle hitch
~Take your time getting the trailers straight - make small adjustments early - stay ahead of your trailer's movements
~Use single-axle dollies and trucks for short (28 ft) trailers
Key mappings to remember:
~F: exits your vehicle
~To quicky unhook your trailer you can map the "detach fifth wheel" control - I used spacebar (You need to be in a fifth wheel truck to find the control)

Damn, this is really underrated. Thanks for sharing this :) and I would be interested in seeing the one with weight added to them!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make that next, then onto advanced hooking maneuvers.
So here we have a future trucker beamng youtuber
Wow, great video!
This is actually a great way to use this sim. I learned, thanks!
On the first dolly you placed, wouldn't you want to attach it so that it is higher off the ground so you can attach it to the trailer easier. Awesome video anyway
In real life you would make the height adjustment at the rear trailer by cranking the landing gear. You want the trailer to be lifted slightly when the fifth wheel contacts to prevent a "high hook". In this sim the landing gear only has 2 settings: fully up and fully down.
Edit: I misunderstood you. The dolly always lays down at an angle like that. It has a lot of counterweight so lifting it isn’t hard, but turning/maneuvering is.
I can do that with the Melmoth RV and a small mobile ramp small wagon known as the Large Box utility Trailer.
i just wanted to know how to hook the trailer dolly up and you devil dog you don dit it :D
