I learned Assembler Language in 1970. I know how a super zap work too. A super zap changes how program works internally in computer without changing source code. Then run another super zap to change back what is internally in computer to make it match the source code. Sounds like you could cheat on totals (lol) by changing 1 to a 2 and then 2 back to 1 without anyone knowing except the person doing the super zaps! If you know Assembler you know what is happening inside the computer. Old Assembler programmers had to know how to read HUGE core dump listings to debug problems. Liked your video! Brings back many memories. Thanks.

    Hi there.
I really appreciate the effort put in the video and the fact that it doesn't
have any background music whatsoever. Way to go!
    Thank you!

Thank you Tim. These videos have been great for basic foundational knowledge. I really enjoy the historical context and brief timelines that are always provided - it really helps to solidify the concepts in my mind (I'm this adds a lot to any historically-minded people).
I'm doing your Java course on udemy, but also doing a Masters in Analytics which is primarily Python/R. These videos are concise, direct and very educational. The videos have engaging and easy-to-follow animation. They've helped me round-out a big gap in knowledge between Fortran 10+ years ago in my undergraduate to Python / HTML in use today.
If anyone wanted to go on to learn more about assembly language / instruction sets, low to high level languages or differences (pros/cons) between languages this video is a fantastic starting point!

Hi sir heart full thanks for your clear explanation.JVM will take byte class file as input and produces the machine understandable language as output I'm clear but I don't know what kind of the machine understandble language generated by JVM like assembly or high level languages such as COBOL, fortran,c.

Hello Tim. Would learning Assembler help me to become a more effective debugger when finding flaws in my software?
