Hideo Kojima loves to put your brain in blender and make smoothies lol. He's been doing this since he was creating the Metal Gear Solid franchise. He loves it when his audience deciphers his cryptic twitter messages, interviews and game trailers by creating crazy imagery and misdirects. There are tons of theory videos one what is going on in this trailer and what this game is about. One of the reasons his fan base is so devoted is because he always makes the lead up to a new game like some kind of interactive treasure hunt or mystery to be solved.
He even created a fake game studio once, to debut a trailer for a game that was called "The Phantom Pain". Everybody was trying to wrap their head around how a completely unknown studio could make such a graphically rich and intriguing trailer and nobody linked it to Kojima. You should've seen the crazy theory videos floating around on UA-cam. Later it was revealed that Kojima fooled everyone with a "fake" trailer from a fake game studio and that the trailer actually turned out to be a reveal for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain", his last entry in the Metal Gear franchise. (btw, remember that name, the guy that did Kong: Skull Island, is trying to get a Metal Gear Solid movie made).
Hideo Kojima actually wanted to become a film director when he grew up but realized, he could convey things in video games that could never be done in movies, but he's still a major movie buff. He is one of the most genius game creators in the entire history of gaming. No doubt, in part due to his study and obsession with the art of film making.
Really dope that you guys reacted to this trailer, but there is another one online, wich is the last one for now. Would be cool if you guys could react to that as well. If you guys want, i can list you some suggestions for other game trailers that are absolutely mindblowing!

Hideo Kojima likes to play with our expectations like no one else. Keep an eye on this game because nothing is as it seems. And yet all the answers are there.

Watch this analysis video of the first 3 trailers. It's 30mins long so I wouldn't react to it but watch it on your own time. There's a ton of mind blowing secrets and connections with each trailer, it's hard to tell if it was all on purpose or just coincidental. They also show in this video that the 3 trailer has a loop if played 3 times at specific parts.
