The first two dvd’s are a huge part of creating that deep permanent connection between people and the members of the band. Regardless of the music they produce and whether people like it now or not or whatever, I feel that anyone who’s ever called themselves a Parkway fan will always be a Parkway fan. You can’t fall out of love with them because you are proud of them, proud to be a fan of them etc. There is a deeper emotional tie with the guys beyond the music, and beyond the feeling the music emotes. People will always appreciate who they and what they’ve done.
Seeing Parkway tomorrow night. So excited. Have been a huge fan since 2007 and will be the first time I see them live. Parkway was the first Metal band I was introduced to and they are part of the person I am today. ❤
man i love that band. seen em live 20 times. and each show is its own. i cant wait to see what they come up with next. side note. i swear to god if they play blue and the grey live soon. ill lose it. still my all time favorite track.. awesome interview guys!
I'm intrigued but at the same time, worried. If they continue to combine elements of heavy metal with melodic metal, then I'm all for it. I'd like to see them be a bit more creative as well. I'm not one to tell them what they should be writing but I hate to hear an album full of Vice Grips or Devil's Calling. Also the stuff that Winston's been wearing on their latest tour has been a bit concerning as well. Can't tell if that's what he's chosen to wear or whether he's being influenced by someone from their record label.
3:51 Having seen the show last night, him describing this cohesiveness of the songs picked to sum up the band is exactly what they achieved. It was an arena show and yet felt super intimate. Absolute killer show
Really great interview, puts things into perspective who have doubted this band, the part where you compared to other bands like acdc inxs is crazy to think that a aussie metalcore band is doing stages like... that is mind blowing. My kids always request PWD songs in the car ❤
Saw parkway a couple of days ago in Melbourne fuck it was the best show of my life those guys put on a fucking amazing performance definitely have to see them again
