I purchased my Taotronics TT- BH085 headphones in November 2020 and they worked fine for about 3 months, but then for no apparent reason they just stopped working. The blue light indicates that they are fully charged and yet when I turn them on, the red light indicator does not turn on and I get no sound. I've been in touch with Taotronics tech support several times, but so far I've been getting the run-around.
I bought both! These sound way better, more balanced (anker q20 has overwhelming bass in a negative way and has nasty mids and highs) these has way more clearer details and soundstage with instruments really present and clean. The ANC works well but it affects the sound a little, it takes a bit away from the highs and sound texture, but when I'm outside on a bicycle it's worth it, otherwise at home I will turn it off.
@@kemenyadi thanks. I bought the q20 2 times but sold it off because of the nastiness. I found a used pair of bh085 headphones dirt chwap, waiting for it to arrive.

Good review. I am glad you wore them Tony. We get a chance to see how they look. I am learning from you, that the TaoTronics are bass heavy. But that would be ok with me. The USB-C is a nice addition. And the folding feature makes them practical to take to the gym, or for traveling. Thanks for the info.
Hi. FYI. In response to your comments about your demo pair not controlling the phone/smart device volume, my TT-BG085 headset volume controls do control the volume control on my smart phone. (Samsung S9). When I use the volume control buttons on the phone the volume is also adjusted on the HS.

Just bought these to replace the Eksa E5 headphones. My pair of Eksa E5 either had really poorly matched drivers or there was something up with the electronics in them. All the higher frequencies seemed to only come from the right side for whatever reason while lower frequencies sounded normal. I hope these headphones are better.
