When I was a child in the 60's and 70's those enormous old houses on Rhyl sea front were all bed and breakfast places, they were all along the road. A lot were demolished and they built apartments with a sea view. As you get over the bridge and there's a large shopping area on the right is where the fairground used to be. There are videos on here from fairground days. On the right on the sea front there's a cafe called Corner Cafe, it has had the same name since the 1940s
where you slow up the footage around the 7.00 markish is Pensarn.You probably already know but this was a holiday resort in it's own right in the late nineteeth /early/mid twentieth century. Those buildings you see were the select hotels of the day
I am sure you will enjoy Rhyl. It is a very nice place especially walking on the promenade. I stayed in the Travelodge Seafront and it is a very nice place to stay. Check one of my videos about the place.
Love this! I will be doing a lot of driving round North Wales and although I have the satnav and the old fashioned maps I like to SEE where I'll be driving! Thanks! 👍🙂
mayancho I love North Wales we hoping move here next year but I’m shocked at the amount of people not wearing masks, where I live nearly everyone wears them x
Witchybitch106 I know I noticed which think is madness, funny how a lot of welsh moaning about the English they didn’t want us visiting but I’m happy to wear masks etc if save lives and take pressure off our amazing NHS staff
Love your video'd drives, have you got an electric car? exceleration is very smooth, (is the film speeded up? looks very fast on all the roads? definitly looks over the speed limit)

Thanks for watching. I drive automatic and hence smooth in acceleration. I have to rely on driving and definitely not over the speed limit.
