It would be better if it was dying over time and ordered to hit buildings only with very slow movement speed and did lower damage than the log it self so it can be like a 7 elixir win condition or 8

Why would it be 7 or 8 when it does less damage just use the the log for 2 and you get more damage and I can see it being 5 elixir instead of 7 or 8

#3 seems good to me. Medium hit speed and damage, it was quite fast in the video though.

Area damage: 9/10 of the log
hit speed: 2.5 seconds
speed: medium
range: 4.5 tiles
log range: 3/4 of the range of the log
same knockback effects as that of a log.
log tower damage: -18 the damage of the log.

Hmm, Too similar to Bowler. Maybe you could make it so it launches the logs on an arc, so that when they land they turn into logs?
