I bought three of these cheapo cameras and as well as my complaint about it requiring a USB wire power source (making it not actually wireless) only one of three can be picked up as a wifi network on any of my devices.
Yeah I’m trying to return mine as didn’t realise that you need an electrician to install power I wanted to used the in the garden & there’s nothing mentioned in the paperwork 🤷♀️

I formatted my SD card in the camera app… And now it won’t let me record anything. It says 0% on SD remaining now. Any fix to this? Camera still works, just no recording now?
Ok so I did a data recovery on my SD card and am trying to add the “WPSettings.data” and one other file back to the SD card. Hopefully that works. Have you ever put a brand new SD card in the camera?
Do you have to put in batteries or are they already in them I have had it plugged in a power point for hours and thought they may be rechargeable or must they have ac power connection all the time regards Peter
You need a long cord to plug in so no good outside where would you get a 20 long cord Wi-Fi means no cord so don’t bother with this who needs a camera inside this was for security outside 😢😮
I've been looking for these answers too. So basically it's useless because all you have to do is pull out the USB cable and it doesn't work. What a load of rubbish.
These things are junk, has got a lot of set up, no motion detector. Sending it back. The instructions leave out half the stuff you need to know. Get a better brand.
2.6g only, I opened it up and it's very very cheap, antennas are fake. only a micro USB connection for power. Currently looking how to bypass the app(loaded with ads) and connect directly
Ugh these are trashy! Wasted money even though it didn’t cost much why tf scam people into thinking they’re getting a good deal when they’re not! First! It needs to be plugged in to even work, two! You have to be near the damn camera to even connect to it and three! Not only do you have to play around with it to connect, you also have to keep resetting it to even connect at all as the damn crappy cameras won’t connect to the other ones without losing connection to the others. Just stupid for real

Not really. The wireless aspect is the signal it sends to relay images. Not the power source. What's weird is that you're such an awful pedant.

yeah i worked out i could connect it to a 5V power bank and it works for about 6 hours but yeah its not wireless.
