I would be hilarious if Gnock 3rd level is that giant Gnock at the end. Like on some magikarp stuff

You should try the newer Alpha builds, there is a mode that starts you with a random common and also a mode where everything is random including types (you need to win once and then 3 times for those modes though)

I'll admit, I think taking a little more inspiration from pokemon may be a benefit to the game. I don't know how they'd do it, but redesigning the slay the spire kind of tower into more of a web with perhaps a food or reaper ala enter the gungeon style system to limit your moves on any one 'layer' would really add to feel of the game. It'd let you build out your team with a little more control, and potentially allow for additional attempts are rares so they don't feel like a 1/1,000,000 thing.
I also think they could probably make more use some use of sideboard, but I'm not sure how. Depending on how long they want the game to be you'll likely reach full build within 2 zones maximum. So they're either going to need to open up more slots and really encourage counter picking the enemy team to survive or play with some kind of system to help sink that experience a little more. Like at beginning of the second area you get the option to basically prestige one of your mons, rising base stats and unlocking a new ability, but returning them to level 1. Probably a mix of both to be honest, but who knows it's pretty clear the developers a pretty creative guy.
Dewt’s ability seems pretty bad. The game doesn’t seem to prioritize putting low health high damage in the back so all the ability does is split the damage between two. It’s bad for the same reason creeze is good. And outside of general fights the ability is even worse against the final boss considering you want to kill the first 3 guys as fast as possible
Whats happen if you evolve gnock?
Can you level up the gnock to three and get king gnock?
I feel like an idiot. It was only near the end of watching that I realized we can save the extra ones we pick up for feed and just hold them until the end so they can level up and feed more experience to everyone...
Is there any information on when the beta comes out?

Yooo the second run is just hits after hits
The game is much easier with a fire and physical build, does so much damage, beats final boss 80-90% of the time

retro i just want to say one thing and basicaly is that creeze is OP i winned like 3 times with creeze level 3 and puppice level 3 so basicaly if you want to win using the starter is with creeze lvl 3 and puppice lvl 3 (also if you are doing a build with creeze i really recomend usin something with eletric type so you can get more energy)

the dev told me on twitter most units have two forms of shiny one being rarer, my forst hit ever being the rate black blue crab guy, then ive gotten 2 of the same mushroom got one lvl 3 win w one, and then 2 of the grass starter guy all within first 2 days of playing

Same character gets 30exp
Rest area gets 30exp
Trashing character gets 10exp for each character = 40exp
Is there a point to shinies if you can't keep them?

Did I see this correctly? If you take one you already have that one gets 30 exp but if you take one you don't have all 4 of your team get 10 exp each so 40 exp in total? Doesn't that mean you should always take random ones instead of the ones you already have if you want to level your whole team?
I don't think there's enough stops to make that work. Tunneling leveling one creature is difficult enough to get there. And I think exp is per creature. Not really sure what would happen if you grabbed randos every time and just started shoving them in the trash tho
If you upload each run individually the algorithm will favour you since each is around ten minutes long

Banana is nerfed in the last update.
Mons in your party gain battle experience as well as the ones in battle, it helps to save up your spares until the end so they can all be level 2 sells for 10xp instead of 5. Also Peeling in front gives him bonus energy for more speed ups earlier on. Great Vid :)
you're telling me to use a feature that wasn't in the game when I played, all mons trashed for 10xp in this build, you can even see that they go up by 10 in this video.
