Lemme explain who “ranboo” is to you Uh basically in simplified meme terms: Oreo man roleplay in block game as a traumatized memory loss that gets pushed around by green blob in prison who lives in his head, Non meme terms: A character in a Minecraft roleplay server, he is half enderman and half ???, he has memory loss and another character called dream got put in prison, but can still mess with ranboo since he can go in his head. He goes in his head by putting in his memory book (his memory book has who his friends are since again, memory loss) the simple smiley face, “:)” it sets something off in ranboo’s head and makes dream able to control him. This is all in a roleplay server called dream smp! It’s a really entertaining considering the fact it’s in a block game. There are 3 seasons (there will probably be more unless they stop it in this season) it has many different streamers and there are basically no villains it just depends who you watch! I in particular watch a streamer called Tommyinnit. (Who is also traumatized by dream. Basically dream just traumatized every single minor besides “Purpled”)

As one who was a part of the Undertale fandom as well as the DreamSMP fandom I'm now being hurt in more ways than one.. but the undertale hurts more. "my name is Toriel, caretaker of the ruins.."
They're both equally as painful, but imo i get it, undertale is more painful because the fandom is dying out, the music is recognized as mere background noise in streams and the only thing thats surviving is sans being a meme I miss the undertale cast, the story, it's all so nostalgic but I just can't play the game without predicting everything anymore and it hurts

Possible TW: I don’t think anyone really mentions how unsettling this game is, like I sat and watched people play it so long ago but it still has such a large effect on me, the characters, the deep plot and lore, storyline and everything that ties it together make it such a calm yet unstable mood like the feeling is so close to the edge yet you can’t even find a way to jump. The desperation, longing, fake, happy, reckless, it’s all there. Undertale. Maybe it’s the way the soundtrack is, kind of edging you on, if that makes sense the way the game gives you freedom but forces attachment. And it’s so reachable, just within range, could just be me though :)

I got creeped out when I played Undertale, mostly because of the sense that someone was watching me play. This was probably because of all the 4th wall breaks. It's truly fascinating how Toby Fox managed to make this and plug every bit of lore to one massive game. The soundtrack is deeply nostalgic and sad. I haven't completed the Genocide route, because I don't wanna kill anybody. I wanna play to the end without casualties. The main characters is with their own tales. They haven't seen the sun in ages, all they have is artificial stars. And yet they are still hopeful. Toby Fox is the best indie dev ever. I loved the game, the plot, the creepiness, the soundtrack, and the characters. I hope Toby releases a new game.

hearing this in ranboo’s stream made me miss the game so much. i recently started playing it again and i’ve been listening to this to fall asleep. watching the snow fall as this plays in the background is so peaceful...yet sad. it’s hard to explain, so i find myself returning to it. craving it, almost, in search of an answer. even if i don’t find what i’m looking for, i’m not sure i’ll care. this feeling, whatever it is, makes me feel something. i know that i am alive. my heart is beating, and blood is rushing through my veins. maybe leaving this feeling unanswered is for the best. just experiencing it is more than enough....
Even when I'm old and grey this game and its music will still have a place in my heart. Playing undertale and engaging with the fandom really helped me through a very tough period in my life. And even after all these years and despite everything i'm still me and I've accepted that that's enough to be grateful for ^^.

I feel like maybe he's still himself even after all of that. You've seen how even flowey in the genocide run, has a genuine smile, not from deceiving frisk/chara, but an actual smile from recognizing his old friend. I feel as if he could feel happiness then, he would be able to feel happiness when he turns back in true pacifist. Maybe he went back to the surface and found frisk, decided to live with them. Or maybe he did have to live alone, but knew he helped them be free of the underground, knew he helped them see the sun again, and live together with humans. He helped them start a new Era by freeing the monsters, and I feel like that would be enough for him. I feel like just by knowing he did that, he could keep going.
i want to go home, my old home when i was 2-5 years old. I’m still in the same town it’s in, but now that i’ve moved- it’s been remodeled and completely different. It’s no longer the big house with a little kids room, no longer the house where i dyed eggs on easter, no longer the home with my 3rd birthday, no longer the house where my old yellow lab named Anna would walk around and sleep on the floor with me, no longer the house where i would get so excited when my dad got home from work. Now it’s a fancy home with big sliding doors, pretty marble counters, and painted walls. It makes me so sad that they changed such a gorgeous house into something so modern. My clearest memory of that house is leaning against the low windowsill in the playroom, sitting on the pink and black/purple foam tiles, the box fan blowing against the screen and inside, the greenery of the front yard, i had to be around 2-3, just staring outside for what seemed like hours, i wasn’t even thinking about anything. What i wouldn’t give to go back to that house. Jesus, what i wouldn’t give to just go back to being a kid. Now i have all these responsibilities- not to mention the harsh anxiety i’ve developed. I’m nonbinary and like women, don’t get me wrong- i don’t WANT to be a girl but.. it would just be nice to be my parents little girl again. I don’t want to have all these problems- i don’t want to see random shit that’s not there, i don’t want to cry every time i get called on in a *zoom* class, i don’t want to feel the need to punish or hurt myself for doing something wrong. It’s not fair, why did my life have to turn out like this- why couldn’t i just stay like a little girl for a little while longer? There’s nothing i can do about it now. All i can do is try and form a stronger relationship with my dad and help my mom out by actually paying attention in class. i just want to feel like a kid child again- that’s why i supposedly ‘hate’ kids, not just because they’re annoying and stuff, but because they take their life as children for granted when i know they’ll grow up to miss the feeling of actually *being* a kid with no responsibilities. so if you’ve taken the time to read this long ass speech- just hear me out 😃 If you’re 11 and under, just- be a kid, have fun, it’s okay to make little mistakes, that’s the beauty of being a kid. RarevisionVHS works pretty well for this if you can only use your phone. It allows you to import video or take video directly in the app. You can probably do a still image too, but you’ll have to make the image into a short video in order for the app to recognize it

Ah the good old days, reading the comments made remember of the good times I had,the first time I saw someone play this on youtube,then me trying it out,being part of the fandom, unnecessary toxicity I spread to that one comment that was simply just wrong and it wasn't their fault,the good people,the bad people,me feeling guilty,and changing...it was hard to be positive,not to others,but to myself during those years,this game helped me so much. I just don't like it how ppl keep on commenting amp stuff abt ranboos memory loss- Sorry to break it to ya if your gonna comment something but, please let the other Undertale fans be put off by that. Sorry! The mcyt fanbase is HUGE and really spread everywhere 😅 but the reason theres SO many here is because ranboo uses this on his lore streams again sorry for all the non undertale people! As a person who plays undertale and is a fan of dream smp I understand that it can be annoying sometimes!

I will admit, i found the game a little late, but let me tell you, this was the most memorial two years of my entire life. My cringy self insert art, my weird aus, my old fan ocs. I say they're cringy, but they were such a big part of my life. I thought i left the fandom, but its coming back strongly! Im motivated to finish an old undertale comic i started a year ago. Im motivated to someday complete inktobertale. I'm motivated to someday buy the game and play it for myself. I never had the money to pay for game, and therefore relied on youtube, but maybe next year, i'll have a chance. Thank you Toby Fox. This is the best childhood i could ever ask for.

As a huge mcyt fan and someone who was absolutely obsessed with undertale- and pretty much still is- it makes me so happy to hear ranboo played it on his stream! i didnt even know, i just happened to see this in my recommended again. this song in general makes me really happy :)

Uh basically in simplified meme terms:
Oreo man roleplay in block game as a traumatized memory loss that gets pushed around by green blob in prison who lives in his head,
Non meme terms:
A character in a Minecraft roleplay server, he is half enderman and half ???, he has memory loss and another character called dream got put in prison, but can still mess with ranboo since he can go in his head. He goes in his head by putting in his memory book (his memory book has who his friends are since again, memory loss) the simple smiley face, “:)” it sets something off in ranboo’s head and makes dream able to control him. This is all in a roleplay server called dream smp! It’s a really entertaining considering the fact it’s in a block game. There are 3 seasons (there will probably be more unless they stop it in this season) it has many different streamers and there are basically no villains it just depends who you watch! I in particular watch a streamer called Tommyinnit. (Who is also traumatized by dream. Basically dream just traumatized every single minor besides “Purpled”)

Possible TW: I don’t think anyone really mentions how unsettling this game is, like I sat and watched people play it so long ago but it still has such a large effect on me, the characters, the deep plot and lore, storyline and everything that ties it together make it such a calm yet unstable mood like the feeling is so close to the edge yet you can’t even find a way to jump. The desperation, longing, fake, happy, reckless, it’s all there. Undertale. Maybe it’s the way the soundtrack is, kind of edging you on, if that makes sense the way the game gives you freedom but forces attachment. And it’s so reachable, just within range, could just be me though :)

I got creeped out when I played Undertale, mostly because of the sense that someone was watching me play. This was probably because of all the 4th wall breaks. It's truly fascinating how Toby Fox managed to make this and plug every bit of lore to one massive game. The soundtrack is deeply nostalgic and sad. I haven't completed the Genocide route, because I don't wanna kill anybody. I wanna play to the end without casualties. The main characters is with their own tales. They haven't seen the sun in ages, all they have is artificial stars. And yet they are still hopeful. Toby Fox is the best indie dev ever. I loved the game, the plot, the creepiness, the soundtrack, and the characters. I hope Toby releases a new game.

This game is just a masterpiece of its own
hearing this in ranboo’s stream made me miss the game so much. i recently started playing it again and i’ve been listening to this to fall asleep. watching the snow fall as this plays in the background is so peaceful...yet sad. it’s hard to explain, so i find myself returning to it. craving it, almost, in search of an answer. even if i don’t find what i’m looking for, i’m not sure i’ll care. this feeling, whatever it is, makes me feel something. i know that i am alive. my heart is beating, and blood is rushing through my veins. maybe leaving this feeling unanswered is for the best. just experiencing it is more than enough....
Even when I'm old and grey this game and its music will still have a place in my heart. Playing undertale and engaging with the fandom really helped me through a very tough period in my life. And even after all these years and despite everything i'm still me and I've accepted that that's enough to be grateful for ^^.

I feel like maybe he's still himself even after all of that. You've seen how even flowey in the genocide run, has a genuine smile, not from deceiving frisk/chara, but an actual smile from recognizing his old friend. I feel as if he could feel happiness then, he would be able to feel happiness when he turns back in true pacifist. Maybe he went back to the surface and found frisk, decided to live with them. Or maybe he did have to live alone, but knew he helped them be free of the underground, knew he helped them see the sun again, and live together with humans. He helped them start a new Era by freeing the monsters, and I feel like that would be enough for him. I feel like just by knowing he did that, he could keep going.

i want to go home, my old home when i was 2-5 years old. I’m still in the same town it’s in, but now that i’ve moved- it’s been remodeled and completely different. It’s no longer the big house with a little kids room, no longer the house where i dyed eggs on easter, no longer the home with my 3rd birthday, no longer the house where my old yellow lab named Anna would walk around and sleep on the floor with me, no longer the house where i would get so excited when my dad got home from work. Now it’s a fancy home with big sliding doors, pretty marble counters, and painted walls. It makes me so sad that they changed such a gorgeous house into something so modern. My clearest memory of that house is leaning against the low windowsill in the playroom, sitting on the pink and black/purple foam tiles, the box fan blowing against the screen and inside, the greenery of the front yard, i had to be around 2-3, just staring outside for what seemed like hours, i wasn’t even thinking about anything. What i wouldn’t give to go back to that house.
Jesus, what i wouldn’t give to just go back to being a kid. Now i have all these responsibilities- not to mention the harsh anxiety i’ve developed. I’m nonbinary and like women, don’t get me wrong- i don’t WANT to be a girl but.. it would just be nice to be my parents little girl again. I don’t want to have all these problems- i don’t want to see random shit that’s not there, i don’t want to cry every time i get called on in a *zoom* class, i don’t want to feel the need to punish or hurt myself for doing something wrong. It’s not fair, why did my life have to turn out like this- why couldn’t i just stay like a little girl for a little while longer? There’s nothing i can do about it now. All i can do is try and form a stronger relationship with my dad and help my mom out by actually paying attention in class.
i just want to feel like a kid child again- that’s why i supposedly ‘hate’ kids, not just because they’re annoying and stuff, but because they take their life as children for granted when i know they’ll grow up to miss the feeling of actually *being* a kid with no responsibilities.

Hi! sorry for the delay, well, I used the Universe plugin from Sony Vegas, there are several ways to do this, if you want I can show you how to do it in Photoshop for photos too, since the Vegas plugin is paid for.
RarevisionVHS works pretty well for this if you can only use your phone. It allows you to import video or take video directly in the app. You can probably do a still image too, but you’ll have to make the image into a short video in order for the app to recognize it

I will admit, i found the game a little late, but let me tell you, this was the most memorial two years of my entire life. My cringy self insert art, my weird aus, my old fan ocs. I say they're cringy, but they were such a big part of my life. I thought i left the fandom, but its coming back strongly! Im motivated to finish an old undertale comic i started a year ago. Im motivated to someday complete inktobertale. I'm motivated to someday buy the game and play it for myself.
