[27] Painting Silk Scarves w/Alcohol Inks: Geometric Technique

- I noticed that there are times when I paint silk scarves with alcohol inks that I can get defined lines along areas that are folded. I decided to be more intentional by folding this silk scarf length wise, ironing it and then folding it again - this into small squares (approx. 4" x 4 1/2") to create a geometric pattern.
Then, I poured the alcohol ink (Rainforest Green by Jacquard Products) and isopropyl alcohol (91%) and as you watch this video you'll see the results of this geometric technique.

NOTE: Make sure to work in a well-ventilated area and/or wear a respirator mask.

Is this ok with resin alcohol ink
To the best of my knowledge there aren't any products known as "resin alcohol ink." There are alcohol inks made by a company called "Let's Resin" but they are inks, not resin. Hope that helps.

Nice mam I am also painting on Punjabi suit with fabric colour
Sounds like it would be lovely. Aren't Punjabi suits usually made of cotton? If so, I am not sure the alcohol inks would move around much on the fabric (the cotton might just soak up the ink).
