There are books more essential than Sheikhs Ibn Uthaymeen and Fawzan's books , may Allah bless and forgive them regardless, but just from a point of practicality and principle.
Not to mention a *dynamic equivalence* (= fluid and readable) translation of the Qur'an in the language you understand best, if Arabic is not your native language.
The Quran and Sirah of Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him won me over as a former Christian . Years ago I stopped believing Isa Peace be Upon Him was god but I did not know the message of Islam till I met some muslims.
🎯 I stuck it in the front page of one of my Bibles , as he recommended. I have also colored it as per the 4 combinations. I wish someone would systematically go through the Bibles & have either lists for those 4 topics, or pre-printed ones, as they do for Red Letter Bibles.
"Izharul Haq"(Victory of Truth) written by Allama Qiranvi is probably one of the most powerful and effective dawah book on christianity. It is an old book, written probably in 19th century. Preachers like Ahmed Deedat and Zakir Naik were inspired by this book. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to give dawah to christians. There are arabic, engish, urdu translations available.

He has a book on christianity titled: 'Jesus in Islam, Christianity and the Jewish Talmud' which I recommend. He also has some books refuting atheism and liberalism and a book explaining Islam. ➡️ Like Apocrypha, the book of Mormon is a man-made book. It contains a different vision of God and theology. Moreover, prophecies of the Latter Days didn’t fulfil itself what makes it completely unreliable. Mormonism isn’t even considered nowadays as Christianity. Your only one good reference would be - the Unitarians.

Shaykh should have insisted that one should not engage in Daawah unless they master the fundamentals of Islam and most importantly properly practice and apply its principles. I am currently struggling with my son who engages in debates while he barely can keep up with his daily prayers.
Very important point. We should start with ourselves, them our families, then go to other people. And we shouldn't talk about with knowing otherwise we will end up misrepresenting Islam which has more harm than benefit
