Yep, lentils and other beans will grow! Even birdseed and food for guinea pigs! I know because I am a teacher. We once had a class pet, a guinea pig. We had a long weekend break for which we left extra food and water (and a nice custodian to watch the pet). But when we came back the pet had a miniature garden from its food. The seeds had gotten scattered and with all the fertilizer in its pen, had sprouted up!

TheBigC Funimations I agree, I'm actually a mom and a preschool teacher and I like the fun ideas I get from these videos for my own child and for the kids in my classroom. Then when I scroll to the comments hoping for some good conversation between other parents who have tried the idea and have feedback on how it went for them and some more tips, instead it's always a wall of kids talking about how crazy it is that they are a kid and like this channel.

this is amazing! I tried some of these and they worked. I may not be a mom, but this is perfect for babysitting. the kids love it. the kids ask if they can stay in my house forever.😂 love you guys.

After watching a lot of diy , cooking and filming videos I thought that Ell , Meg and Brooke should do switching for a day like Meg gets to do diy Ell gets to cook and Brooke gets to do filming . That would be fun to watch

Here in Greece in the first years of elementary school for many years now we have a couple of days talking about lentils and how they grow if we plant them and we track their growth every week for a couple of months! It's very nice and all the kids love them!
I first planted lentils in kindergarten and it’s a really fun activity

It does grow. My mom tried it. It also works when you put a lot of them in a tall container, them put a lot of water, them dip out the water, and then put a lid. No soil needed only water. In only 1 or 2 days you could see the plant growing. In 4 days it would be a young plant. Repeat all steps daily every 10 ours for your plant to grow faster. Love WUM.

Try this you need one long string and tie the two ends in opposite direction and put a straw in the middle of the string and tie or tape the inflated balloon to the straw and let go to let the air out and have fun chasing it

I will use many of your activities the next 2 weeks. I have my daughter (8), son (3) plus two nieces (12 and 10) for two whole weeks under my supervision. There should not be any possibility that the kids get bored.... diva fights and drama incoming due to a possible lack of activities...
