Shaky off-key vocals over a fairly simple guitar melody...should be a terrible, terrible song. But it's one of Jesus Lizard's best, in my opinion. And the lyrics are absolutely badass. Reminds me a lot of "Sweet Smell of Success", an equally underrated Tomahawk tune.
I have a good one for just this other quality out of these bands that don't cover the essence of sadness a lot. Without being vague. You know what I mean. Their one and few sad songs it's like ya ok f man that makes it really like that I think about like what about there be no more David yow then I would hate the world so much more you know it ....
