- In advance of the most anticipated event in 2017, both parties hosted a media conference call today, Wednesday, June 14 with Dana White, Leonard Ellerbe, and Scott Espinosa.
I'm ready for this to happen already & have McGregor fight in UFC again.

Their measurements are going to be similar. 5'8 Floyd ( probably more like 5'6 ) 5'9 Conor ( probably more like 5'10 maybe taller. Conor shoulder to shoulder though is much bigger than Floyd.

Anything can happen when you are fighting a southpaw with heavy hands who is not your run of the mill boxer, so Conor is going to be awkward. Conor is bigger, will be unpredictable and that is what makes him dangerous. Conor still has a puncher's chance and sometimes that is all it takes.
The only, and I mean it THE ONLY thing Im interested about this whole thing, is the press conferecne trashtalk between the 2.

Floyd's in a lose-lose situation: he's supposed to win against an inexperienced boxer under boxing rules, so if he wins, there's an asterisk beside his 50-0, and if he loses, he loses his perfect record to a UFC fighter. That said, Floyd outclasses him, but Conor definitely has a puncher's chance.

As with the Pacciauo fight , Mayweather would not take the fight unless he knew he had an advantage. He's a great boxer but he will wait until his opponent is disadvantaged. Pacciaou had to wait years and injuries before the fight came to be.

Conor is not a better boxer than Mosley, Maidana, Pacquiao, Canelo, etc. Mayweather is gonna crush Conor, the only reason Conor wanted this fight was for the money for his family, and even if he did lose, he will still make $ in mma.

Listen Conor obviously doesn't stand much of a chance but it's totally conceivable that Conor will be unpredictable and Floyd could make literally just one mistake and the fight could be over. Conor is going to get knocked out. Floyd started out boxing other BOXERS due to his hand injuries but he's going to knock Conor out on this one just to make a statement. Two different leagues. Conor is not a boxer, he will make slip ups and have his chin open. If you think Conor has precision, Floyd is a specialist at it. Ask Dillashaw what it was like sparring Lomachenko. It will be hype for the first couple of rounds but once Floyd gets in gear and figures Conors movement and timing its going to be a masterclass. Conor does have a punchers chance, but to think Conors left cross is the hardest punch Floyd, a world class pro boxer has ever felt is stupid. Canelo and Mosley alone hit harder than Conor. Pacquiao and Cotto faster than Conor. Floyd is not a basic athlete, 40 means nothing against someone who is not as seasoned as him. Its like saying just cause Ronaldo is 32, a 25 year old Eden Hazard will batter him on the field, no. You see there is a major difference between outboxing a wild swinging bum like Eddie Alvarez and trying to box Floyd. Whats beautiful about Conor though is that he's a warrior. Mcgregor is a great boxer and an incredible mma fighter but.. 50-0 incoming. Mayweathers defensive boxing skills are matched by none I'd be surprised if mcgregor catches him clean once in the fight. though I hope he does its very doubtful.. and in all honesty if Mayweather believed mcgregor was a real threat then he would never have took the fight regardless of money he's proved this though his whole career
