A* is most definitely going to in the high 250s or even low 260s. These papers were ever so slightly easier than 2022’s papers and the number of marks for an A* (at least for my chosen modules) was 247/300.
@@IceHockeyCreamer yeah definitely for cp1/2 they were standard papers (cp1 was easier than most papers tbh) but fs1 was probably the toughest paper out of all the past papers available (it wasn’t extremely hard, just hardest in comparison to the rest) just gonna hope that grade boundaries don’t skyrocket too much in general
I just like to say, thank you so so much for your everything you need to memorise video! I watched it before the exam and had no idea about the cosines ratio formula. Can’t believe it showed up! Thank you again!!!!!!
I was quite scared for this paper given that I’d started proper past paper revision yesterday, but I loved this paper. Couldn’t do question 3 because my dumb ass kept doing quotient rule instead of differentiating the top and bottom (hopefully I get a mark or two 😭). Regardless, great paper I think I got around low to mid 60s
A=15 B=1
me too 😎

Less gooo

Fucked up thought there was only 9 questions how many marks was q10
He carried a-level maths for us ❤
Sir plz do a video tomorrow of throwing a basketball or a football in the basketball hoop. Make use of applied maths.

are you guessing for people who took fp1 or for everyone in general?
@@papamichi7 I think across the board the papers were quite nice, but I am mainly guessing for the ones who took FM1 and FP1 as their modules.

2022 were told what was coming up in the exam so the grade boundaries were substantially higher.
@@polka678hopefully won’t be higher than 2022 this year! I take mech and stats so should be bit lower than pure

Amazing! That's so good, really pleased that gave you some extra marks!
what did you get for that question?
@@Marvin90000 sorry bro, I hate discussing answers after the exam. Too stressfull
grade boundaries are gonna be so high bro😭😭 but this was the best fp1 paper i have ever sat honestly
like 90%, could it be more
its gonna be high for people who do FP1 not for everyone else
Easy paper but covered 3 chapters only yesterday so happy that i managed to get what i got with the little that i prepared.
Anyone else find the parabola and lines with angles to the axis difficult?
Yh I had no clue how to do part ii of the vectors question
@@nbac114I just waffled with dot product so hopefully I get a few method msrks

So many show that questions... blessed
did anyone do the 2nd part of the 2nd conics q the one with the triangle? cos I didn't have a clue icl lol
yup, u just found the coordinates in terms of A by finding the area of the triangle
do you know how you’ll get your grade for FM since I thought every option combo gets a different grade boundary…? (I mean that could also be wrong 😂)
I'm not sure actually! I know they give you the best two modules, so perhaps it is checked against all the different potential boundaries?
@@BicenMaths I wonder if it will be marks above grade boundary or raw score!?
@@BicenMaths it'll be the two core pure papers plus the two options that you scored the most marks on
What did you guys get for the direction cosine question?
y = 1/2 x or 1/sqrt x i cant remember
+/-0.5 for the z component
What was the cartesian for the plane, before the line one?
Was that the one with the cosines?
i just remembered i got something like y = 1/2 x or 1/sqrt2 x but it was a completely random guess at how to use the info to get an answer
honestly im predicting a 100 percent. none of the questions were too hard. im flabergasted ngl.
Last question A=11 B=-75 anyone?
Unlucky lad
A was 15 and B was 1
