How to Graft Jackfruit Tree and Get Really Big Jackfruit Tree in 50 Days

Grafting is the most reliable means of propagating the desired cultivar. Grafting joins together a piece of a mature, bearing tree (scion) with a separate seedling tree (rootstock) to form a permanent union. The scion forms the canopy of the tree and the rootstock the lower trunk and roots.
It takes 50 days for the graft to be a harvest. This video shows the grafting experiment by attaching three young roots to attach and air layering. The result is pretty good and gets a really big jackfruit tree.

As I understand it. He took two jackfruit saplings and used its roots as a rootstock for the jackfruit tree which had its bark inch or so, removed. He put cocopeat to the roots of the two saplings. So now the roots of the 2 saplings are providing nutrition and nourishment to the jackfruit tree. After 50 days he cuts the tree from below the graft. Then he plants it in a pot. After the grafted jackfruit tree has sufficient roots it can be shifted into the ground.

These are got by planting seeds of good variety a 30-45 before you take them for grafting, specially plant seeds in first week of June to be used for grafting in mid July .
