I went there for a tour when i was a kid in like 86 or 87 and i was just amazed with the place. I just want to know if they still do tours of the island I would love to take my kids there some day for a tour.
Dawgie101, Hey there! Yes at first I didn't even know it was a human lol! I asked if he spoke and he did this robotic "no" type handshake haha. I then started seeing more and more of them all over the city - was quite cool! I have about 5 minutes of video of him lol trying to see if he would break out of his stance..he never did.
I was everytime in holydays at Alcatraz and every year there was something closed. Why cann't money spent for the last standing houses? You have to pay a lot for visiting, this money should be for restauration those very interesting part of the USA.

yes they still do the tours, a was there in 2006 a always wanted to see alcatraz n sanfrancisco, the place is fantastic..
