Thanks!^^ You cant really see it because the rubberands move so fast, but basically there are 7 rbs all pre loaded onto the bow arm thingy.

Thanks haha. The guns always take a lot of time to build^^ the m249 is also one of my favourites just wanted to see if I can make a more compact one with this one. But I think I have made enogh "crossbow things" now... If I make a new gun its prob. gonna be a bolt action.

Hey man, this gun is amazing and i already started building. I can't figure out how to put the rubberbands and the strings.. it would be awesome if you made a vid for attaching rubberbands. Thanks
Alright so do you already have the rbs and strings connected? I used these rubberbands:

So I always have doubled two rbs and attached the string to either one. the string is from a kite.
I cant make a video right now, because in not at home where my legos a at^^. Then its a bit complicated but basically I detach the back end of the bow arms, then I "thread" on the rbs and then I attach them again.
And always keep in mind that unlike other lego guns maybe this bow arm structure has to hold very high forces so be careful.
And just can use any other rbs basically, just use enough
Also I just attached the string with a knot. like a loop knot or sth
This one is also quite tricky to get working lol, the m249 is the most reliable and forgiving id say.

Sadly no, you'll have to look at the video.
But if you check out my newest lego gun (winchester) I actually managed to model the full on Rubberbands in Stud.io there :D

Yes, it's very smooth. I modified the inner structure and changed it into technical parts. The rubber bands are not too complicated and can be installed on the outside.
If I still want to make your work, do you think a heavy machine gun is better, or can I adjust the semi-automatic and fully automatic rifles?
