- Bad Boy Elite ZT 54" fluids changed, handle adjustment, electrical lift switch repair 2015 PART 2.
I drain and change both hydrostatic drives and engine oil. Make adjustments to the handles so the mower will track straight when I push them both to go forward or backward. Change the engine air cleaner and lubricate and grease all pivots for the mower deck to tractor interface.
Then finally take the mower out to some taller grass for a few trial passes, however the horseflies were so bad that I didn't stop to check the cut. It did look really nice though. My wife has done a complete mow and the hydrostatic reservoirs were at the perfect level and the grass looked even and flat.

You are the only channel that shows the actual tracking adjustment for the bad boy. The Maverick has the same rods to adjust the tracking
Id, for one, thank you for keeping things simple... Most of us watching, even if we pick up 1 good useful tip, that's what makes the difference. If you make 1 thing click, in 1 person, and you did, your time was not wasted. Thanx.
Thanks a lot I appreciate the kind words!
Lol, “we’re not going to the moon with this”
Thanks

They are great machines. You’re welcome!! Glad it will help!!
Leave the foam on. It stops the larger debris from clogging the paper element as quickly, and you can shake it off a few times and extend the life of the paper element. Great video, thank you.
Thanks for the info!! Have a great rest of your weekend!
The sponge filter acts as a pre-filter to be cleaned periodically so the pleated filter lasts longer.
Then I should probably put it in there. I probably lost it by now though. I will use it with the next filter replacement. Thanks for the info!
Great video! Thank you. Nice work.
Thanks appreciate that!
Love that video, looks like you have a bottle of ole Kentucky swamp water on the table, better known as Ale8. They need to sponsor you!!
Have one right beside me now, too. Imported to AL from KY.

your work ethics are unacceptable to work on anything I own.
refer to the owner manual for proper and correct ajustments and talk to the local small engine /equipment shop/mechanic for expert advise and maintenance tips better to be safe than sorry keeping it clean and free of debris and preventive maintenance doesn't cost it pays off these mowers are extremely expensive preventive maintenance isn't take excellent care of it and it will take excellent care of you
when purging the tranny's jack the rear of mower with a floor jack if you don't have a lift and 1 side at a time forward and backward until air stops hissing and a small amount of oil seeps and do the same to the other side go at it with a professional mechanical minded attitude and you won't regret it and don't but cheap supplies always the best that money can buy genuine bad boy and Kawasaki and always have a 12 inch ruler when making steering lever / tranny ajustments count the number of threads before and after
also degrease the mower and use sc1 to keep it spotless even the plastic
thanks I just bought the very same except it's a 2014 1 owner with 600 hrs extremely clean will be adding canister air filter have to remove the plastic over top of engine to mount it and then the Grammer suspension seat assist handle remote chute blocker and some other accessories front carrier cargo rack won't fit over engine with canister filter after she's all accessorised a cyclone rake most likely oh by the way put the foam precleaner over your filter it will last a lot longer spray precleaner with light oil and shake and tap paper filter until nothing comes out and vacuum it and then while engine is running with air filter out spray carb cleaner into carb inlet degrease carb linkage with carb cleaner blow off with compressed air then spray with penetrating lubricant been working these since I was 5 now pushing 54 that was back when we had magneto's points and condensers L head engines and ajustible rebuildable carburators miss the classics still have a Briggs wind up from 1963 runs like a bear and doesn't burn a drop of oil also a 1970 toro whirlwind and a 1979 j c penny high wheeler and a 2005 world lawn 33 a tank of a mower has a 13 Briggs intek I c I'm thinking a vanguard 23 hp or Kawasaki fs 730 or fx730 recoil and elec start damn plastic shroud chipped have a mint shroud same engine / w elec start I just rap rope and yank starts first pull has a habit of pefiring as compression release on inteks wear out when I got it the dude didn't change oil it was burnt flushed out synthetic in doesn't use a drop of oil a new carb under deck will be media blasted and primed and painted and clear coated the bad boy has the standard high lift I'm putting extreme super high lifts on maybe cutlass blades check them out at cutlass blades.com you'll be blown away at there performance and you won't damage your spindle shafts wheel mounts to spindle shaft 1 bolt and four mini blades that require no tools to change just clip in with a spring and quick release there great expensive but worth every penny if you hit something the blades are pushed back and then return due to centrifugal force 4 blades per wheel per spindle and increases under deck air flow by 50 percent check um out there are videos on you tube of them in action
