Kim: "We think a lot, it makes us more angry." Chris: "Hence, we never sleep." Truer words have never been spoken. Jesus, no wonder I latched onto this music the moment I heard it.
@@conqueringlion420 except that it’s not… 86 isn’t the same as 89. Those numbers can be tricky…. Not sure if you’ve learned all your numbers yet, but a good way to remember the difference between 6 and 9, is to think of 9 as an upside down 6. Hang in there, when you get to 1st grade you’ll start learning how to compare different numbers. 😉
I mean, sexuality is just a spectrum. Evidence suggests more people have a little Cornell in their personal rainbow than not. 😂 Hell, I'm actually ace, but he's a big part of the reason I didn't know it until much later in life!
@@nutshell994 🤣🥳 Congrats! 🎉 (Chris Cornell: inspiring sexual epiphanies since at least 1986... may the magic live forever, RIP you bad beautiful mofo)
"Our vision of the end of the world" "just to write music that we like" ironic who said which.... But - i dont mean to make light of tragedy. It actually makes sense - given the output over the years. Not so ironic per the means. It's the end that stings. & i do believe both men kept true to their intention. The End
these two are amazing
Kim: "We think a lot, it makes us more angry."
Chris: "Hence, we never sleep."

Chris was so young here. Crazy to see.
Thank you for sharing! This interview was in 1989.
I love watching anything Soundgarden. Love all of them. RIP Chris
Wrong year on this interview - probably 1989.
Definitely. Louder Than Love album was released on September, 1989.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Probably 89-90.
Same thing, sound garden, Olive Garden, pizza garden, beer garden tomatoe tomatoes

This was '76 or '79 tops.
Interesting to hear the term "grungy" being used, before "grunge" came into the public consciousness as a fad.
This is 1989. It was already being used a lot to describe the Seattle bands
This interview did not take place in 1986. This is from 1989, during the Louder Than Love period.
amazing footage. thank you!!
Coolest leather jacket ever. Thrift store gem I like to imagine.
Wow! This is super old! So cool
Rest in Peace Chris
Amazing! Never seen this before, thanks for posting 🙌🏽🩵
You never seem to miss all of those Soundgarden videos, I really appreciate the dedication.
Funny to hear the interviewer speak of the "grunge" sound of their guitars on the album....
So young and raw. Love it. RIP Chris
ya, Chris is just too humble to understand he really is,like REALLY is a rock god, the real deal💖
Quite crazy to hear chris speaking voice when he was young , wasnt really raspy at all and no hint of the power hes hiding
Just hearing him speak, his voice is smooth as butter. Such a baby in this video.
It got higher as his range increased but he never lost the tone 💕
Wow so young 😇
chris makes me question if im actually straight

bro same.
update: im not straight!

One of their inspirations is having cake! They were such funny little punks back then ❤
"maybe a 7th chord" aged amazingly
Young men in 1989, old men in 2023, gone by 2060?
Isn't life wonderful?
One of them is already gone
The other one gone grey
Can't stop old age 😱
Who the feeling my teeth
Are knackered 😭
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid We know Chris is long gone.
I love these questions from confused normies who had never heard these noises before. Had no idea how lucky they were.
The best Soundgarden interviews were with Chris and Kim bouncing off each other humorously
Haven't seen this one
Al And Peggy Bundy Were
Grunge In 1987!!!
And Kelly ❤🎉
89
The first 3 albums are some of the best rock albums made, 4 is awesome too but dont have that dirty grunge sound of the first ones.
kim was hilarious.
1989, not 1986.
I've never thought of NUDEDRAGONS as simple or basic.
Acid Punk😱?

1989 what a year Roseanne on TV 📺
Cheer's Music Inxs
In Oz Stone Roses
Happy Monday's

Chris Cornell's speaking voice sounds very much like Kurt Cobain's voice.
Both from Irish ancestry I think it's genetics
its because they are both from the northwest. part of it is dialect or northwest accent
I've always heard Big Dumb Sex was a hair metal parody, not R&B/funk... interesting
Lyrically it's a parody but the sound is soul n funk fused not surprising as they once covered Fopp, a funk classic from the Ohio Players. 😊
Definitely NOT 86'.....probably 88' at the earliest or 89'...
