The frame is fairly heavy and the four carriage bolts hold it down fairly well. I don't think a gutter will work very well with highway speeds. Happy Gardening!
Have you done a practice run down the road with this already? I'm curious what you're bringing to Market so I don't go needlessly buying anything from the seed catalog. :D
Got it up to 50 with no problems. The road to the market is 35 max. I don't plan on taking it on the highway. I have a ton of basil, romas, beef steak, and peppers. I have a few cherry tomatoes, round zucchini, black beauty zucchini, cucumbers, and pumpkins.
I only had to use the heat mat once when we had a late frost the night before market. They are 100w seed starting mats that I took a extension cord to. Temp got down to 28f outside and all my starts survived. Forgot to put a thermometer in to check the temp.
How about putting water tanks in the bottom for wind loading and water storage, along with a gutter system to fill them with rain?

What do you reckon the tow weight of this would be?
I didn't weigh it but I can move it by hand even when it is fully loaded with plants. Just can't move it too far.
