With this song when I was 12 years old in 2002 I discovered the wonderful music of Paul Van Dyk. It was included in one of the editions of "The Best DJs in the World" by +mas
Tranceport comes to mind instantly when I hear this. That entire complication for whatever reason came together perfectly. Every track on that album is considered to be a classic twenty plus years later, and this is no exception. PvD at the top of his game here.
This channel just goes from strength to strength .....I would love to see and hear something like an hour long mix lets say at the end of the month or not so monthly...just an idea... I`m quite happy with the memories and banging content keep it up!
I don't know why, but mixes are a nightmare for copyright (at least for me) on UA-cam and I've had a good number blocked worldwide quite frustratingly. In the end I've given up with uploading them here, but you can find a lot of Trance Classics mixes from both myself and Mark over on Soundcloud. All of our old Trance Classics LIVE radio shows, tribute mixes like the Brainbug one you mention and all sorts. Not all of these are vinyl mixes but there are a variety :) ~Daz soundcloud.com/darrensimpson soundcloud.com/mark-winstanley-425160339
@@TranceClassicsOfficial: Keep up the good work, your channel is truly the best Trance channel on youtube. With updates coming nearly every day, I discovered many fantastic new songs because of that.
Tellement de chose passé sur cette musique ... Que ce soit tragique ... Ou magnifique... A jamais dans mes souvenirs et nos souvenirs... RIP my Friend!!!!!
Mad how prog heads would slag off trance back in the day but Sasha and Digweed played their fair share of it! The fact is the genres were closer in terms of sound than people would ever admit back then.
Paul is, and will always be my favorite trance producer! I feel privileged to have seen him when he had his monthly residence at twilo nyc in tje late 90s, among others like sasha and digweed, carl cox etc. Not only that, if you were in the Manhattan club scene as i was from 95 through early 00s you would know how ridiculously amazing the sound system dubbed "phazon" was! That was over twenty years ago I can guarantee you it still sounds better than a lot of current system's. Sir junior vasquez had a hand in that as well and he had impeccable taste . Among other things like pretty much being one of the most amazing house music dj/producer/remixers out there without a doubt! going with some of the best parties in nyc ( one of them being arena at palladium, later on earth parties at exit))
I remember hearing this on a Napster rip it was called rave me and this was the ending song and it was straight fire glad I found the name of it literally 15+ years later haha
Merci Shazam encore une fois ça m’a permis de retrouver un morceau (enregistré sur K7)écouté et enregistré tard un soir sur la radio FG. Que de souvenirs!!!!
first heard this when pvd done his 1st essential mix in 1997, he actualy played out with it...if you not heard that 2 hour mix its worth hunting down...and Daz keep plugging these Amazing tracks Respect
The beloved nightclub that I was dancing in back in 1997 - 2001 put out a DJ mix in 1998 that featured this record. If you want to hear this tune in the mix, and what the sound of Durban, South Africa in 1998 was, then you can listen here - ua-cam.com/video/ox_a74cZ-M4/v-deo.html . Obviously this tune was a monster in the club too.
One of PvDs most underrated tracks. Mad how much better his music was back then than it is now. Pretty sure the PvD of then would listen to to PvD of now and just say "cheesy bullshit"
True, i was obsessed with his music 20 years ago. I lost track of his production long ago. Global was most likely the last albub I purchased.I own this vinyl of Words single also.
Paul was ahead of his time. Legendary track! Reminds me of my childhood :D
Am still not grown up can I relate to that
This is pure PVD magic. Amazing German trance at its peak.
Love the bass line to it ,fucking amazing
Propa couldn't agree more
Proper. I used to blast this on a 10,000 watt club system…it was..religious
This fucking track RIGHT here was the turning point of the sound of Paul van Dyk and marked the beginning of his GOLDEN AGE from 1997 to 2007.
It has all dat familiar PVD sound effects that he used in his mixes during the late 1990s and especially the early 2000s.
I first heard this in the Tunnel NYC. Changed my life 100 percent.
This is still a massive tune! Sounds just as good as the first time you heard it.

This song carries a sense of drama. Something that can only be felt. It stirs in me something sad, but how I love this old classic!
Love how he created his own sound, something so unique, what a tune.

Tranceport is a really good mix, one of Paul Oakenfold's finest.
@@interesting_output i agree when i dug up some of oakys goa trance then that was on a different lvl of music
Yep! The programming in Tranceport the way it builds is perfection for a trance journey.
I remember exactly where I was in Oct 98 Los Angeles when I heard this on Groove Radio 103.1FM. pure euphoria.
The whole Global album is awesome, especially this track.
The track, Animacion is my favorite.
I love how the whole album is mixed. Every song it's perfectly placed.
PVD the master of trance

Masterpiece.

This very track is known to be a turning point of the sound of PVD.

@@bobby1602 Also the start of what I like to call PVD's "Golden Age" of 1997-2004.
Such a wonderful, and underplayed, track. Only recall this from Oakey's Tranceport album. Shame this wasn't a bigger hit.
This is my fav pvd track.

Still my go-to track for testing a stereo.... the synth is so clean and the bass just has a clean tight punch to it.
