Im starting to feel like the company who made beats are actually scamming us because so many people out there are having problems with beats and they are known for being the best
Beats are known for their quality, but like any tech product, they can have issues. If you're having trouble with your Beats Solo 3, try reaching out to their customer support or checking their warranty policy. Sometimes, a quick fix or a replacement can make all the difference.
No kidding- I’ve had 10-12 different pairs of beats. I’m sick of this already- I’ve had my latest pair for less than a year, and they aren’t charging now!
Apple is trying to kill beats on purpose, so they can push those garbage ass Air pods. They went from Beats by Dr Dre, to Beats, to....nothing theres nothing on the head band I got the studio 3s because the 4s have a plain ban. Good bye Beats when I want to feel my music I put on Beats. When I want to see my music I put on Bose.
I actually was having the same issue and finally figured it out. Had an old Samsung soundbar and remembered all buttons needing to be double clicked before the factory reset sequence. Applied the same to the beats and BINGOOOOOOOO!!!!!
They are definitely ripping you off, try a pair of V-Modas they are amazing compared to beats. Way more durable forsure.
This was so helpful. I gave up on my headphone after they went unresponsive. I plugged in my beats and held down the button and they work now. Tysm
Glad it helped!
Appreciate it I barely had them 3 weeks 😀
Glad it helped! Just 3 weeks in and you're already troubleshooting, huh? 😄 Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!
no same i had them a month max and they died
6 months and they died apple care suggested buying a new headset
I had my beats for 6 months now and I could see the lights when its charging but then when I suddenly unplug it and try turning it back on it just doesn't show any indication its turning on.
Having the same issue here
Sometimes it might be a battery issue or something with the power button. Have you tried resetting them? If that doesn't work, it might be time to hit up their customer service.
@@hifiaudios8101 yeah I figured out it was the power button and it wouldn't turn on so now I can't use Bluetooth and it can only work if it's wired and plugged into my device
This worked, ty
This guy deserves a Grammy or something
Lol, right? 😂 A Grammy for tech support, sign him up!
Bless up
My beats will charge but won’t turn on how can I fix this?
Try a reset maybe? Hold down the power button and volume down for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, it might be time to hit up Beats support.
@@hifiaudios8101mine won’t even flash or turn on
Mine had a problem where it wouldn't turn off or on but the light showed it was on. You just couldn't hear anything. What fixed it was I put it on the charger and I held down the power button for 30 seconds
i tried all of those meathods & they still won't turn on. i'm so upset because my airpods barely last me an hour and i need them for school.
Oh no, that's frustrating! If none of those methods worked, it might be time to reach out to Beats support for help. In the meantime, maybe try using wired earphones as a backup for school.
How do I open up the headphone to clean dirt/debris near the power button? Dont want to break my headphones 😅 they charge fine, but will not turn on no matter how kany resets i attempt sadly
QUESTION!! my beats are flashing red and white, they are fully charged and they won’t turn off. Also when it does connect it connects for a few seconds before disconnecting. If you know the problem or if I should go to apple to fix them, please let me know.
your Beats are having some real issues, huh? The flashing red and white lights might mean there's a problem with the connection or the battery, even if they seem fully charged. Maybe try resetting them? If that doesn't fix it, taking them to Apple could be your best bet.
The pressing the power and down volume worked for me
Awesome to hear that worked for you! Thanks for sharing your fix, might help someone else in the same boat.
I have a pair of Mickey Beats Solo3 and I’m having the issue where it’ll charge but not turn on. I tried resetting but they won’t turn on. I’ve had these for about 3 yrs now and I think the problem may be is that I stopped using them because one side gave out and barely worked with the wire. Is it a battery problem?
Hmm, if they charge but won’t turn on, it might be more than just a battery issue, especially since one side was acting up even before. Could be something with the internal wiring or electronics since you mentioned the one side giving out. Maybe try another reset, and make sure you're following the steps exactly right. If that doesn’t work, might be time to check in with Beats support or consider getting them looked at by a pro.
I’ve only had mine a few months and have used it 3 times!! And it’s stopped working. Lights come on when charged, but won’t turn on when unplugged. And won’t connect to my phone. Have tried all these and it doesn’t work. Seems like they’re really ripping people off with the solo3
Have you tried resetting them? Sometimes that can magically fix things. If that doesn’t do the trick, might be worth it to check out the warranty or even take them back to the store.
Hey I have a question, my beats don’t turn on unless I open them without the power button, and they only have all the lights for battery white
For troubleshooting I tried to reset them it didn’t work so I then tried to forget the device but it didn’t work
Before I forgot them on my phone, they would only connect when I had them closed, and they had a red light flashing (they are charged) and when I would open them it would automatically disconnect
Hmm, sounds like a tricky situation with your Beats Solo 3. It's a bit odd that they're behaving like that. Since the reset and forgetting the device didn't work, it might be worth checking if there's any firmware update available for your headphones. Also, if you haven't already, try charging them with a different cable and adapter to see if that makes a difference. If none of this works, it might be time to reach out to Beats support for some expert help.
my beats are doing the same thing!! have you found a fix??
Ok question, I got my beats years ago, they are older. My beats power light doesn’t work and they take some time to turn on. They are pretty old as I said and do just generally need some love to look nice again. I’m kinda puzzled. I don’t want to go to apple as they tend to be incredibly expensive.
I suddenly was able to power them on and connect them (still don’t know how- the power light is still not working. Could it be a fuse or something??)
If the power light's out but they still turn on sometimes, it might not be a fuse-more likely something wonky with the wiring or the power button itself. Since Apple's repair can be pricey, maybe try a local electronics repair shop? They can often do these fixes cheaper.
My beats are only 6 months old and I can't get anywhere with apple care or Amazon prime 😕 I'm wondering why I even bothered getting a 2 year warranty
Sometimes these warranties can be a bit tricky. Have you tried reaching out to them again? Maybe explaining the issue a bit more might help. Keep pushing, and hopefully they'll sort it out soon!
The lights turn on when I put the to charge but when I hit the bottom to turn it on it won’t work. What can i do?
My beats stopped working totally. It’s not clicking into place on the side with the lights, the lights aren’t working, and it won’t power on and connect. I know it’s at 100% charge since I was last able to use them and check a couple hours ago, but they disconnected and now refuse to connect.
If it's not clicking into place, something might be off with the mechanism. Since it’s fully charged but still not working, you might wanna try resetting them if you can. If that doesn’t do the trick, reaching out to Beats support could be your next best step.
It worked for me, it took 5 iterations of 20-30 seconds cycles. On the fifty cycle the Beat turned-on.
Glad it finally worked out for you. Sometimes tech just needs a little extra patience and elbow grease, huh?
my beats have been on charge all day and all it’s showing is one LED light (where the charge is + the power LED when it’s on) but still won’t connect or react at all when i try to turn it off 😣
If it’s still showing just one LED after a full day of charging, there might be a battery issue or something else going on. Have you tried resetting them? Sometimes that can kick them back into gear. If that doesn't do the trick, might be time to check out their warranty or get in touch with support.
So i charged it and it was full batteries and i take it off when i turn it on it won't work
Maybe try a reset? Hold down the power and volume down buttons for a few seconds. If that doesn't do the trick, might be time to check in with Beats support.
New Solution: ( I tried all the methods and nothing worked)- Take your charger and repeatedly insert and remove it from the port WHILE holding power button. Hard reset apparently on the third try. Good luck everyone
Oh wow, that’s a pretty unique fix! Thanks for sharing it, might really help someone out if nothing else works.
At first my headphones wouldn't turn off no matter what I did, so I left them on for the night, hoping they would just die, but when I woke up, they were still charged, but they now couldn't turn on. I've tried the methods using the power button and charging in the video now, except the one with the aux cord because my headphones never came with them. Did they come with yours? If not, where would you recommend getting one?
For the aux cord, nope, the Beats Solo3 don’t usually come with one in the box. You can pick up a replacement pretty much at any electronics store or online. Look for a standard 3.5mm aux cable, and that should do the trick. Might be worth trying the reset again with the new aux cord when you get it.
I just turned them off finally. What do I have to do again to turn them back on? I am at the gym and I need my music lol.
Try holding down the power button for a few seconds, that should do the trick. If that doesn’t work, they might need a quick charge.
@@hifiaudios8101 they are being looked at by apple. And will get them back within a week or soon.
im done with apple , they cost so much just for to break in less than 5 months.. why do i have to take down the parts just to fix it😭😔
Oh man, that really sucks! 😭 It's super frustrating when pricey stuff like that goes kaput so quickly. Sometimes it feels like you need to be a tech wizard just to get things working again. If you’re really fed up, it might be worth checking out the warranty or seeing if Apple or a tech shop can do the tricky stuff for you.
That’s helped it turn on but now it won’t stay connected
Bummer about the connection issues though. Maybe try resetting your Beats again and also forget the device in your Bluetooth settings, then pair it fresh. Sometimes that clears up the gremlins.
What if my head phone doesn’t have that little lflash
If your Beats Solo 3 isn’t showing that little flash when you try to turn it on, it might be a sign that they’re not getting power. Make sure they’re charged up properly-sometimes the cable or the charger isn't working right, or it might not be plugged in all the way. If charging doesn’t help, a reset could be the next step to try. Just hold down the power button and volume down button for about 10 seconds. If they still won’t turn on, might be time to check in with customer support.
i’ve tried everything it still isn’t working
Oh no, that sounds really annoying! 😟 If you’ve tried everything and it's still not working, it might be time to check with the support team. Sometimes a pro needs to take a look!
Facts fake ass video
BRO this auctally worked I was gonna be so mad if my CAT broke my headphones...
Haha, glad it worked out for you! Those close calls with pets are the worst, but hey, now you're all set.
@@hifiaudios8101 Yeah!
i dropped mine in water unfortunately 😔
Might be worth letting it dry out completely before trying to turn it on again. Sometimes putting it in a bag of rice helps pull out the moisture.
Had mine 2 weeks brand new it’s a joke
Just 2 weeks and giving trouble already? Definitely not cool. Hope you can get it fixed soon!
