Corfual's Pork with Cabbage & Carrot

- This is my version of a nice easy dish, very inexpensive but comforting and filling. The Greek recipe does not call for Garlic and Carrots, but, they go so well with white cabbage. This recipe feeds 4, but you can adjust the ingredients proportionally for 2 or 6. All my recipes are fairly loose on measures, which makes them very easy. Just get all your ingredients ready first.

You can always tickle and twist a recipe to match your tastes mate, thats what I love about cooking. Reminded me of boarding school dinners but I am sure it tasted lovely on a winters days. Nice crusty bread to mop up all that broth. Yummy.

Hi CB, Thanks for watching, yes still SMS to go out max of 2 hours and only in your own postcode area, supermarkets in area are open and well stocked, used to it now, miss being able to go for a drink though or to film. only certain things allowed out of house. Stay safe. Al
Hi again CB an update for you.still a movement order required but bars are open use code 6 you can sit outside for a drink shopping code 2 but they do not make clear how long you can stay away from your house. Official Aly the season starts May 14th but again the government is stupid and does not make clear what a tourist can do. You must stay in your postal area ? How long can you stay on the beach? frankly the government are wankas they are saying tourists must abide by local laws . Even the locals do not know what that means. Good luck. Al
@@corfual Hi Dear Al! Thank you for your news. Hope this "circus" with sms wont last for a long. Indeed I cannot believe how long Greece stays without normal amount of tourists and work. Hope you will go out more now and enjoy going out like before. And for me I hope to come to Corfu soon. Glad to hear your both well. We’re in middle of a house move, been ongoing for 4 months. Thank goodness they extended stamp duty holiday by 3 months. Doesn’t look like we will be out this year, but fingers crossed 2022. Then I’ll be able to treat you both to a meal and drinks that I’ve been promising you for ages!

Hi Dave, sadly still on total lockdown no bars or restaurant s open. And only allowed out for 2 hours with a movent permit a day. Weather cloudy sun to cold for sunbathing. Leave it until may.All best ,Al
