I’ve never been in a boat with the trolling motor center mounted so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. It seems to work just fine, the boat is very easy to position with the trolling motor. I mounted it that way so it is pretty well inside the boat (protected) when stowed and most of the front deck is available to walk around and fish. I do wish I would have made the base shorter so when the trolling motor is down the deck would be even more opened up. Thanks for watching!!!
Can you tell me a little about the rear seat mount that appears at 6:06 in the video? Is that a height adjustment lever? Any info on brand and how it works would be appreciated. Thanks
The product name is kwik drop unfortunately they are no longer in production. I bought that in early 2000s and it has held up really well especially being on a saltwater boat. It basically just has two positions full up or all the way down. There is a little lever that somewhat locks in in place when down and you can sit on the seat in either position. I wish they were still in production I’d really like to have one on the bow as well. Thanks for watching!!!

So do they bolt up to aftermarket boat seat swivels?
They should, the bolt holes are in the right spot. I think you may have to get some shorter hardware though. Thanks for watching!!!
