Great playthrough until the last stretch when you missed (skipped on purpose) some crucial opportunities that could've help you. Having small effort is very important indeed (I lost most of my games by not having enough small effort), but resources are important too. Firstly you skipped gaining some resources for your Outdoorsman skill, which would've give you effort. Secondly you should've upgrade your basic weapon to advanced weapon. Going against a level 4 (max) Boss with just a Knife is making things hard. Thirdly going with no food on level 4 means whopping 10 effort to compensate the lack of food (1 + 2 + 3 + 4), so even if you kill the boss you most likely would die by hunger after that (before winning). Anyway it was a pleasure to watch you play and that inspired me to get out my copy of the game which I neglected for few years now (damn time flies). Waiting for your next playthrough.
Thanks Mike! I'm really loving this game but Alas I am but a rookie whose head had become swollen after 3 straight wins. Yes, I def forgot about my outdoorsman skill. I also blundered some decisions like you pointed out that definitely would have helped. Sometimes filming causes me to rush so there isn't long stretches of decision making going on. I'm glad to hear you're busting out the game. Avenge my death!

I can only imagine what a playthrough of mine would look like if I am filming and commenting on top of it. You are doing pretty fine considering.
