Hey I want to tell Richard thank you for these videos. I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, and I built my 4l60E 2 years ago, and it's still going strong. It feels like another gear when my convertor locks up. I really pay attention to everything you say. I feel like with your help not only did I do the rebuild. I was able to make it better. Thank you
I’m so excited to get to watch your videos again Richard and Theresa!! Great job on the new shop and wish you guys the best of everything!!! And let’s not forget Annie. Glad to see her doing well too.
Glad to see your channel back on, I really enjoy your videos and all your knowledge. I have a question not related to this video. I have a 2017 Allison transmission and I just drained the oil and changed the inner and outer filters. How much oil to refill, I'm thinking 8 quarts?
Good to see a new video y'all " had me worried something happened! " hope y'all are liking your new shop!!" Got a ? Have a 1997 chevy tahoe 2wd had the 4l60e rebuilt, my ? Is that it shifts hard from 1st to second all the time, it goes in every gear 1 through 4 but first is a s.o.b...lol" my question is why 1st hits so hard? I'm on my 4th trans mount because it shifts so hard it ripped the rubber right off the mount...
man Richard you are a master at these transmissions. i absolutely love watching your videos. I'm a gear head myself. But don't dare open up a transmission for anything serious..😂 so much to know about before even attempting to try anything. Thats why we have masters like yourself. keep up the great work. looking forward to the next one.
Unfortunately, customers don’t wanna pay me to videotape putting a transmission back together. They would rather me concentrate on what they’re paying for.
I do have a question. How can fluid in the outside part of the connector burn up the trans when the inside part of the connector is submerged in fluid?
Was the other one demonetized because he said bull poop? Im still watching it again. Nope 35:58 still there, and still love it. Oops, just realized it was on the old channel. STILL WATCHING IT!!!!!!
So so good to see y’all back. Never going to work on an American transmission but honestly, watching you guys tear these down and explaining them in detail is absolutely fascinating ❤ Again, so pleased you’re all back and keeping a similar format !
I guess for those who don't know or didn't know Rich has been making videos on his channel. @Richard and Teresa Educational Transmission Videos. He's got tons of stuff he made on there.
Richard and Theresa, I'm very happy to see you back on You Tube! I've always enjoyed your transmission autopsies! Good to see you in good health and spirit!
@WvFisherman90 nice, I never stopped following cause he started the other channel. But having the original channel with 250k subscribers, I know he don't do it for the payout from youtube. But it does help keep things going. And honestly I hope him and his son worked out whatever was going on. I've been there with my own dad, and I can say today we are both great friends and father and son. Idk where id be without my old man. Hopefully them boys worked things out.
Pretty sure if you are really good with the trigger on those electric tools, you can prevent the electric brake from engaging by releasing the trigger switch somewhere between half way and off which will allow the chuck to freewheel or cost vs. stop.
It's so nice having a full length strip down vid again, have missed them and yourselves!
So glad to see you posting videos again!
So glad to she you back again here 👊🏻
Damn missed you Richard🤙🏼😎so fantastic to see your talent

I was at a drag race event in New Zealand, late eighties held on a closed road. Mustangs clutch exploded and a piece hit someone in the crowd.

I have 339,000 miles on a 4R70W. It still shifts well. I do change the fluid every 40k miles. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Hi Richie and Family,.🙏,
Biiiig greetings from Here BROOKLYN NEW YORK CITY. ❤❤❤
If you want to experiment with different thickness steels; find a machine shop with a grinder setup to change the thickness.

I do have a question. How can fluid in the outside part of the connector burn up the trans when the inside part of the connector is submerged in fluid?
i absolutely love your intro! simple and perfect!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an Aisin transmission on a dodge need to be rebuilt on this channel.
Can’t believe how quick I clicked on this video.
Was the other one demonetized because he said bull poop? Im still watching it again. Nope 35:58 still there, and still love it.

Richard do you do mail order ??? i want you to build a Trans for my 2002 4x4 Excursion ???
No, sir, we only install all of our units
Thanks Richard!!! Good to see you have your shop in order!
Hey Richard Teresa & Annie, glad to see you back!
Great to see back Richard. :)
The big question is are you going to warranty it or charge for another rebuild
No, you answer this question for me. What would you do? After nine years?
@@PrecisionTransmission after nine years I would charge again
Why did they get a new shop? I didn't think the son leaving would cause that, are the two things related?
Retired and built a 60 x 60 shop at home three lifts and working there to make race car money lol and what else I need to enjoy life
I love the 4r70w.I've done 100s of them.easy and cheap to biuld.I'm so excited to see you do a ford trans.
